I love this game I'd give it a 10

As a none huge tennis man... I know the rules but dont know much about tennis other than superstars... I never played a tennis game before...
I rented the game for a night and it actually made me want to maybe buy it... but with what i've heard (people quitting online) it kind of ruins it... its just like UFC (until they listened to people and released a patch)

I REFUSE to play this game until they release a patch.

I was playing in world tour, had just won a tournament and had a week til the next one. So i decided to play a training game. Once i did that I noticed my rank went down a couple. When i look at the calender it SKIPPED A WEEK!!

At the moment I rate this game a 2/10. Its simply unfinished and it amazes me how this passed through quality control!!

Story: As good as tennis games will be.
Gameplay/controls: Very good in my opinion. Player animations are fairly decent and the world tour is addictive at least for the first 2 seasons.
Graphics: Only 720p support, not good enough as Virtua Tennis 3 was better with 1080p support.
Sound: Meh.
Wow Factor: Nowhere near as good as Virtua Tennis 3 (see Graphics).
Replay Value: Maybe a few months. Once you've done the World Tour for about 2 seasons, it starts to really fade away.
Multiplayer Experience: Lagfest with pros in unranked matches. Ranked matches are nonexistent.
Rent Or Buy This Game? Buy on the cheap.
Your Personal Verdict & Your Final Rating: What you'd expect from a relatively good tennis game i.e. not near perfect but still good - 7/10.
