Virtua Fighter 5: Final Showdown Trophy Guide and Road Map

My friend was really complaining about this game, saying he was clearly doing 5 combo hits and it wasnt registering it so the game must be broken.

I thought, bleh its going to be broken for me I guess, Such an easy game. I bet he just wasn't doing it right and blaming the game.

All I have left are licence challenges but I'm not very good at fighter games so its proving a bit difficult, especially the guarding challenge, I always guard at the wrong time or the wrong guard (crouch/standing). Saying that, the tip with Sarah helped me get the 5 hit combo, altho I couldnt do P,P,P, as the third punch was too slow, so I just spammed P,P,K,K,P.

You can just hold to constantly block, that way you'll only have to press when it's a low attack.

Okay, edited the Ten Tests Complete trophy to show strategies for each test. Not 100% sure about the criteria for Test 8: Special Rules Test 1, so if anyone can confirm what the rule actually changes, it'd be appreciated!

Glad to be of service! I lost most of my online battles too, so you're not the online one

The special rule for challenge 8 is that there is not a recovery when a fighter falls, you can use this to keep the AI from attacking and the AI can use it to wipe you out. Although the AI usually lets you get back up. This special rule is also in effect in challenge 9, which is why if you spam attack the AI the AI should rarely even get in a hit much less parry.

I know I have the competing guide but whichever guide is chosen ought to be packed with whatever info is deemed helpful.

I have a better easy way to - Special Moves Test 1. i did all the Challenges using this, and i get 90% Excelent. Chose Lau Chan and only spam + believe in me, this is a really, really, really easy. Try this and say something.
