You need to buy the respective DLC to get the trophies.

inFamous 2 did not have DLC. inFamous: Blood Festival was a separate game... It was NOT a bonus Single Player mission DLC released separately.

I just said this in another thread, but the great thing about some of these new trophies is that not all of them can be boosted or collected by novice players you have to have skill. For example, not allowing the statue to be hit on crushing Monastery, you're not going to get that unless you are top class, which is good. Trophies should be rare and challenging, as well as something that not everyone can obtain. Some of you will not be able to get back to 100%, but that shouldn't be the end of the world. Also if you say you won't buy another ND game, that really isn't going to hurt them in the slightest, it will just be you missing out. Remember the amount of people that care about trophies compared to the total amount of PS3 gamers is tiny.
To be honest, I don't actually find that a "great thing". There are VERY few people who actually have 100% on UC2. It's pretty tough, even to boost them. And the 2500 kills trophy kept away a lot of novices. Also, the co-op trophies on UC2 were actually pretty tough to do.

All this new trophy list does is take co-op trophies to a new level of difficulty. Meaning that it is WAY harder than before, but doesn't mean as much fun. Secondly, that means you have to have an entire co-op team of awesome players in order to get the trophy. In UC2, sometimes I could rely on myself in co-op games, even though my companions were mediocre players. But now with this, I can't have mediocre players in my team, and it is not solely reliant on my own skills. Now, my trophy list is dependent on other people's skills... :/

I kind of wanted to have some fun while getting these trophies, and have fun helping out other people get them, too. But now it's just a grind... And I'll have to say, "Sorry, buddy, you suck as a player, so I can't play with you."

Saying that it's good that only the top players will get 100%, seems kind of pompous... Like we don't deserve to have 100% unless we are the "top players". Even though I may be better than 80% of other players, that still means I'm not good enough as you... which means I'm not good enough to deserve 100%... Talk about Ivy League mentality.

Thankfully, this tip was put up:

When you reach the statue and put Drake inside the circle, there will be a first wave of enemies coming out near the church. The RPG guys don't appear until you kill the two weaks guys. You can use this to your advantage by keeping them alive while you take care of all the armoured guys and then go and grab the PAK-80 etc (otherwise you need to keep an eye on the dropped weapons so that they don't disappear).
That way, this won't be "top player" material anymore... And you can focus on the RPG guys when they spawn. Thank God for these people.

This is basically how I feel about these co-op trophies. They're asking for a bit too much team co-ordination this time round. When I did Crushing on the Village co-op map back in UC2, I was able to get through most of the second to last section by myself because my teammates kept running out into the open to pick up weapons and usually died. But just completing a map on Crushing isn't good enough anymore, apparently.

The co-op trophies are fine IMO. I even wish there were more since I did them in just a few days. The competitive trophies are insanely boring though. 50 wins in Elimination, Plunder and TTDM? Are you kidding me? These modes are plagued by top clans who play in full parties and slaughter all opposition. It's not unusual to run into a full party of guys with over 50,000 kills and a KDR over 3.0. No matter how good you are, you and your team of splitscreen noobs aren't going to stand a chance. The only way to combat this is to play with a good party yourself, but then you will probably go full circle and ruin the game for other players.

Ha this couldn't have said it better. Stopped playing TDM awhile ago because of the split screen players always costing you the match. Use to be able to quit but now get a loss counted for doing that. Hated being thrown into games almost over with no chance of winning and now you can't quit without it as a loss complete bs. Then you have the situations where you can't control and lose power (east coast blackout this past month). That's why hopfully this new mercenaries mode gets put into the playlist permanently.

Even worse are games in progress, as they're pretty much a guaranteed loss. I was put in one today that lasted a whole 50 seconds!

I've gotten losses from games that didn't even load before they were over. Here's a tip that allows you to see if you're joining a game in progress: Simply press square to open your profile when you're searching for a match. If you suddenly get thrown back into the matchmaking screen it will be because you're joining a match in progress. At that point it's still safe to press circle to cancel the matchmaking. The downside to this is that it will take longer to find a game, but it could be worth it.

A note to anyone who was planning on buying the skeleton skins as DLC microtransactions when released for the trophies: According to ND, you won't get the treasures for them, just the skins.
