What's been out since july 20th? I have to say I hoped the price of the dual pack would be lower than 40, i wonder how places like gamestop will sell the used copies.

Just the plain platinum version of the games in a dual pack.. Nothing extra included(I think).. So I guess I was wrong, since it's not the same thing

You are getting 2 games, both of which sell new at MSRP for $30 each, for $40 along with all of the DLC for the second game and some other goodies. Dual Packs are just the regular greatest hits versions of the game with a cardboard box wrapped around them to keep them together. If you sold them used you would get the going rate for each of the individual games.

most new ps3 games go for $60 at launch, when one goes for $40 it's a fucking miracle. So far the only games to do that are HD remakes and PSP games.

right now at gamestop Uncharted goes for $25 new and Uncharted 2 for $26, $30 if you get GOTY edition. which comes with all the same bonus junk this dual pack does, so yeah, I'd say $40 is a hell of a good deal. especially for games as gloriously epic as Uncharted. In fact, $40 is kind of an insult for a game this good.

americans pay too much - i got uncharted 1 and 2 seperately last year from GAME - 2 for £15 bundle. thats $25ish and thats seperate releases, but for both. and yet in the states you pay that for one used uncharted.

the new double is £25 here, which for me is overpriced when you think about it, compared to what i paid a year ago.

A Dual Pack already exists, it's setting on my shelf. It was $39.99 at Kmart. Quite the bargain I must say.

I'm sure a trilogy will get released sometime next year.

Also, I bought the Tomb Raider Trilogy from Amazon for only $20. That's three games, for only $20. Some people wouldn't know a good deal if it slapped them over the face.
