I would definitely say to purchase this version. I don't see the original for that much cheaper (lowest I've seen was around $23). Buying the new version gives you 12 more characters than the original has, as well as a handful of new modes. Also, the online for Ultimate is definitely going to be more lively than the original (if not already).

Not at all. Comparatively, it's one of the easiest fighters out there to pick up. The only fighter that's probably easier to pick up than this is Super Smash Bros. Brawl lol. It is however pretty hard to get extremely good at this game.

I know I sure am glad they decided to make an Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. I remember being in highschool when MvC2 was coming out and wishing for a Cable, Silver Surfer, and a Ghost Rider. But hey, 2 out of 3 ain't bad...
