Just got the platinum The missions alone were tough for me, but also getting to 6th Rank online also took me a while. I gave this a 10 because of the difficulty of those two features.

it took me three months (mostly because I spent hours and hours in lobbies watching people fight) but I finally got my platinum
Not that hard overall, since online trophies can be boosted and missions were difficult at the start, when I had to regain muscle memory and precision executing moves. Special thanks to Hyperborian666, who helped with online, thanks buddy.
Rated 7

The problem is the breathing room on the missions. Having only 20 forgivable missions seems too few. And for people unwilling to buy Jill and Shuma, they have to finish all of them.

I'd say the missions are a bit harder overall for UMvC3.
This is why I voted a 10

I give this a 9, just finished getting the 480 Mission Trophy, I'm just less than 2 hrs away to get the 30 hr offline trophy and then the Platinum.

Took me months to get the Master of Tasks trophy, it involves me doing missions during my lunch breaks on the Vita and then redoing the mission on my PS3. Although some missions that I thought was tough/impossible, turned out to be manageable. ANd having the DLC characters also helped tremendously.

Gave it a solid 9 since i got both dlc characters, otherwise it would be a 10.

All online trophies are boostable but the 480 missions trophy alone is reason for the rating.

This is a much harder version then MVC3, on par with SSF4.

8/10 w/ DLC, 9.5/10 no DLC - Missions aren't too bad if you have DLC since you can skip a lot of those virtually impossible missions. The rest of the trophies can easily be boosted or unlocked through normal gameplay.

I voted 9 - as others have said, the problem for most, myself included, were the missions.

It would have been a 10 but got the DLC which made things a little easier. Tough game - enough said.

The missions are hard but they are not nearly as bad as MK vs DC

Not at all. The MK vs DC kombo challenges had stupid timing involved on both pro moves and non-pro moves that was not spelled out, could not be communicated via youtube videos etc... and hit boxes/frame windows that were absolutely merciless. I have not encountered that same level of obfuscation in UMVC3 at all.
