I think missions 1-7 got easier, but wow, mission 8 gets harder and then 9-10 are just much harder. I am taking it slow and do one or two characters per day.

most characters (cept spiderbro) i can get to mission7 with a bit of concentration, but due to my add i cant go beyond that, i just cant remember two whole combos and string em together, esp. not on a normal controller.

Hey Rafie, how many more missions do you have? You should go over to the Xbox site and check out the mission mode thread there. Didi Mau and I went over a lot of the missions from people who asked (that thread is much more active than the one here). Maybe there's some tips there to help you with some of the harder missions.

You can pause during the combo to make it easier if you want. It takes some time to figure out when to pause, but most combos do have 2 or 3 points in the combo where pausing it won't make you instantly drop the combo.

A stick will not be different if you never use one.

I can use a stick and a pad but i did 99% on the pad cause i dont have a stick. The problem is not the pad or not using a stick. I think a lot of people just "rushing" it. When they cant do it they quickly skip to the next one because in their mind they want to "plat" the game. Just like any other games out there, if they stuck for a very short time, they use a guide. People just need to put a little more time into and take it slowly.

I'm sure you or any other out there who just practice a little bit and just split the combo into 2 parts you will get it.

I usually do the last half of the combo first for the last couple missions cause they usually longer and make sure i can do it cause i cant see the whole combo on the left side. Once i got that down i just do the top half + last half which make it much easier cause i can see the first half on the screen.

You can also ask for some help in the mission help thread cause people can give you tips and often you just need to know some very minor thing in order to perform it correctly like delaying certain parts of the combo, doing QCFup motion etc.

ah ic. Well, thats unfortunate.

I guess you can take it slowly and enjoy the game. You can try picking a range team and keep people away and use a short combo when they close. I guess you can enjoy the game this way.

Its definately going to be a lot tougher for you to attempt the platinum for the game.

On the Xbox I have about 24 left. On the PS3 I have less than 100 now. I ended up dong Strider's combo 10 (which was really kicking my arse) just for me to turn around and quit to the XMB and not save any of the Strider's from 7-10. Lesson learned! Thanks for the tips. Normally I'm very good with trials as I've done SF4, SSF4, MVC 3, and Blaz Blu. I don't know why I'm having a tough time with this. I know I'll eventually get it.
