CAF does not appear in Pride Exhibition

My created Caf from the main menu that has not been made for Career mode won't show up in Pride mode. Does it have to be created for career mode first or is this incapable?

When playing PRIDE in the select a fighter menu press right to acces Caf and press left for UFC fighters.

Yes, and he still doesn't appear.
