From what I've read/heard THQ Has yet to even commit on anything about dealing with the problem(s). I have also heard middle of June. Hopefully the secod one is right.

A better question would be "Is there any word if THQ is preparing a patch?"


You are assuming there is already a patch in the works, which is most likely incorrect.

It's my understanding from the official site forums that a patch is scheduled for the 13th of june. I sure hope so cause I have yet to see the reward screen after an online fight. All my fights come up invalid even though it registers the W/L. Can't get the online weekly trophies with all invalid matches.

THQ is currently working on a patch for UFC 2009 Undisputed. Given the time it takes to create the patch and get through the certification process we are looking at probably over two weeks and most likely a month or so away. The patch will address the online problem with no result being recorded when people quit and also will work to eliminate some of the lag that has been experienced.

No word yet on what else, if anything, would be included in the patch. Hopefully some of the minor grievances with career mode will be fixed up as well. Given the apparent success and popularity of the title it was inevitable that it would be patched, though how significant and effective it will be remains in question.

i have the game on rent and finished 1 career and am returning it today. if the online gets succesfully patched then its an instant purchase from me. dont let me down yukes/thq, i want to see connection/latency indicator and a dnf% for users. though if they award the win by default for a disconnect thats ok too

Im in the exact same boat as you. I rerented it the other day because i love playing it, but this wil be my last rent until they do something about it. I would just be happy about a DNF %. If they fix it, then they can count it as some more money in their pockets.

Quoting a less-than-reputable site stating there is a patch in the works is nowhere near solid proof.

maybe its just me but pastapadre never let me down when it came to info on madden patches or roster updates, so i think this could be pretty solid info...but hey to each their own right
