It'sa really amazing game, especially when you're a long-time fan of the franchise like myself. The multiplayer is clearly the main aspect of the game. Oh boy, it's so much fun. As for the online issues, check out Jaffe's blog davidjaffe.biz: TWISTED METAL STATUS UPDATE #4 (scroll down to the blue font). If you're not totally helpless when it comes to portforwarding, then you'll be able to set this up fairly easy and it will fix most of the issues (at least it did for me and many others as well).
