Those are awesome. How the hell you'd make them so detailed? All I can do is change the colors.

Yeah i love that feature! You can download the unfolded 2D templates and import them into pretty much any program that can export as a Jpeg afterwards, and upload it as a Base layer

If you want help with a skin or with photoshop I'll be glad to give you pointers

Too bad you can't search that website for skins.
I know some people that have made good ones but once you lose the link you can never find them again.
