Honestly, the easiest way to finish her off is with a weapon that doesn't lock on (sit still and take aim, then dodge like hell). I ended up using Reaper to take her down on Twisted. His flaming chainsaw takes out the cars in one shot, knocks her to the bridge in 5 shots and finishes off the head in 2-3 shots (if I remember correctly). You'll want to save any power missiles, mega guns and artillery ammo for the mini bridge fight (just unloading on her) as her pounding makes it impossible to lit up the chainsaw. Mega guns also work well on her in any stage (when she's sitting still).

Edit: Wottagunn and I also have tips for taking down the other two bosses in our Twisted Metal Trophy Guide. All the tips etc there work to beat the Gold Medal times on Twisted difficulty (a few attempts pending, of course).

I see how add this if you want. I just am chilling on the other side of bridge and she doesn't fly up and down like crazy I have to redo it almost had it and I was using that town truck and death warrant, ill try reaper real quick though I am really comfortable with these two.

I used Vermin. Auto-lock missile so I can shoot then run collecting health/weapons.

Heh, if the truck or death warrant are more comfortable, I'd prolly keep trying them for now as you can always come back for the gold medal time if you beat it. Having tried Vermin, Outlaw and Sweet Tooth, I found that I was going about a minute over the 10:42 allotted time. I know its doable with other vehicles as other people have done it, but with Reaper, I was able to finish her off in under 10 minutes on Twisted, which is why I make the suggestion. It's tougher with less armor, but the flaming chainsaw special rips through the boss and other vehicles.

Just throwing this out there since it happened to me, maybe you guys would know more... But the one time i was using darkside with his alt special and killed a bunch of the floating heads (thanks to the silly auto lock). A little cutscene happened and the main head landed to the ground for about 15 seconds.

What i dont know is if its part of the fight or something that actually happens from killing the little heads... Anyone know? It might be helpful

Reaper is beast against Iron Maiden. I used the flaming chainsaw on all the cars and took her down with two flaming chainsaws on the next part. Then I hit her with a flaming chain saw and mega bullets during the part where you need to stay in the force field thing or whatever so you don't self destruct. By this point I had 200+ mega bullets left and the 2 mega bullet pick ups left near the bridge. I unleashed my mega bullets and rockets for the bridge fight and then grabbed the 2 mega bullet pick ups by the bridge for the flaming head. Ended up getting 8:08 on Twisted which blew my mind because I was getting my ass kicked on normal difficulty with other cars (13-14 minutes on normal) so I looked at this level as a huge obstacle going into my Twisted playthrough.

Heh, isn't he? It's amazing how the right vehicle makes it all that much easier. I'd recommend Shadow for the final boss if you're still working on Twisted Gold times. The 2ndary fire rips that first part to pieces.
