Is anyone else excited for this game...

Ok, admitting that I am a huge nerd, I will say that I used to play this game as a kid all the time. So, I am pretty excited that it is going to be a ps3 game and that we are getting trophies for it. Anyone else share my enthusiasm, or will I be the only one buying this?

Actually, I was a really big fan of that too as a child, and I think it'd be great to have now, depending on the price

. I have 3 or 4 versions of the board game so I'm not too rushed to buy it but for the right price I might

. (I heard $40 last time, if that's still the case... too much for me right now, but eventually)

Yeah I heard $40 too, which isn't too bad but with all the games coming out this month I may need to wait on it a bit as well. But I am still glad to know that someone else is thinking of getting it at some point. I have several versions of the game myself, I even have an old original set, which was my mom's, that I prefer to the newer ones. Although by this point I pretty much have all those Q&As memorized.

I've been looking for a good trivia game for a while, and Buzz didn't really cut the mustard for me, so I'm pretty psyched about this one.

I'm a big fan of Trivial Pursuit but, unlike Jeopardy!, I think that will be more of an asset than a liability for me enjoying the game. I didn't buy the PSN Jeopardy! game, in spite of me being obsessed with that show, because I thought the way it was done was near-blasphemous. I guess I just don't have as strong an attachment to Trivial Pursuit, so I don't mind the multiple choice thing... plus I don't need some lame-ass peripheral like in Buzz.

It'll be nice to answer questions about history and science and such too... not just which movie Angelina Jolie was in or some BS.

I think it's the only game known to man that rewards you a silver trophy for failing at the game. Almost as funny as the Silver trophy in Eat Lead for watching the entire credits. It makes me LOL!

hell yes. not just because of the easy trophies but b/c quiz games are the best party games aside from rock band in my opinion

Damn right. Also, when people ask what games I have and I start mentioning these quiz games, it makes me look like a knowledgeable guy.
