Trine 2: Trophy Guide + Road Map
 Overview:
Side Notes: *All trophies can be earned online and offline. Some may even pop for all players so long as 1 completes the requirement. **The platinum will take at least one playthrough, but it will most likely not be a full playthrough. See "A Floral Feast"  for more information.***If you're playing coop, make sure not to die or progess towards trophies will be negated. (I.e.) You get 8 kills of enemies means, die, than your partner gets 2 more. Your patner will get the trophy, but you will still need 2 more kills. Introduction: A world of stunning beauty, potent magic, and perilous adventure awaits...and if you choose, you may travel it alone or with your friends. Play as the powerful knight, the swift rogue, and the crafty wizard in this physics-based, action-platformer with 3-player local and online multiplayer. Make the most of each character's unique skills and tools to find your way through each puzzling stage of this breathtakingly beautiful adventure. [Official description] Roadmap: Step 1: Play the game There is no exact way to go about any trophies so do them at your own pace. Make sure to follow the trophy guides below for specific trophies. There really aren't any missable trophies as you can always go back to designated chapters. Make sure to collect experiance along the way, as you will need to upgrade your characters for certain abilities. Step 2: Clean-up If you managed to finish story without earning every trophy (which is nearly impossible), don't fret. You can always revisit chapters to do any clean up.  Trine 2 hard Earn all Trophies in Trine 2  Surfboard Master Stand on a plank floating on a single airflow for four seconds Using the wizard, draw a straight line to conjure a plank. Either draw it or move it over a vent, than jump on it for 4 seconds. An easy place to do this is chapter 3. Shortly after jumping on a swinging stone slab you will come across a vent right next to the ledge you're on. You will need the Wizards plank skill (2 skill points). Video by: Rospondek  I Didn't Do It Make goblins die of three different environmental hazards in a single level Environmental hazards are things such as spikes, bees, dangerous plants, etc. An easy chapter for this is chapter 3. At one point you will come to a point where the assassins says "They eat people like you". Further ahead is 2 beehives. Wait for the first goblin, than knock it down to get your first kill. Shortly after, the second one will drop down. Pick him up using the wizard and drop him on to the spikes right next to you. After making your way up the bounce pad, the 3rd goblin will appear. Using the wizard, pick him up and drag him into the purple plant right under you. Video by: Rospondek  Flying SoloComplete a whole level playing one character only Simply complete any chapter using 1 character only. If that character dies you will have to restart as it will read it as you changing characters. The easiest level, according to many claims is level 2. Using the Wizard fully upgraded. Make use of his boxes and enemy levitation to kill goblins. If you die, press pause and load the checkpoint before the game reads you as dying. You do not need to restart the entire level, only the checkpoint. (thanks to gh0stface for this). Video by: Rospondek  A Floral FeastFeed carnivorous plants with three or more different kinds of treats Carnivorous plants do not appear until chapter 7! With that said, all you have to do is walk under one and feed it all 3 heroes. Video by: Rospondek  IcebreakerShatter three frozen enemies within one second This can be a little tricky, but with the right tactic it's very easy. Near the middle of the shadowed Halls level will be 2 enemy spawns. It will spawn 3 lizard-looking enemies. Make sure you have the following: Assassin: Frost Arrows (1 skill point) and Frozen arrow (2 skill points). Knight: Charge ability (2 skill points). After all 3 enemies spawn in and are close to each other, charge your arrow and shoot it, making sure the enemy is frozen. Freeze the other 2 than switch over to the knight and use the charge to smash all 3 instantly. I recommend setting the difficulty to hard so they don't die. Video by: Rospondek  Hammer HavocKill an enemy with a thrown hammer bouncing at least once before kill This can be done on any level in the game. Simply charge your hammer and fling it upwards, making sure it hits the ceiling or underside of a ledge. After it bounces back down it has to hit and kill an enemy. You will need the Knights Hammer Throwing ability (1 skill point). Video by: Rospondek  Dirty TacticsGet at least 10 enemies killed by other enemies' actions in a single level The easiest way I found to do this trophy is to use the wizard. Whenever you run across enemies, pick one up and hold him directly in front of you. This will cause the other enemies to attack while the "ragdoll" enemy gets hit. After they kill him, rinse and repeat 9 more times in a single level. Video by: Rospondek  Bouncy BouncyStand on a conjured box bouncing on any bouncy surface for 10 seconds Using the wizard, draw a square to conjure a box. After placing it on top of a bouncy surface, you must jump on top and balance there for 10 seconds. An easy location is Mudwater Dale. You will come across a bouncy surface shortly after hearing "They eat people like you". Video by: Rospondek  A Hail of ArrowsShoot 3 arrows in the air and catch them all with the Knight's shield Make sure you have enough space for this. Using the assassin, shoot 1 arrow high into the air, the second at medium range, and the last at close range (so all 3 fall pretty much at the same time). Quickly switch to the knight and hold up your shield to catch them. Video by: Rospondek  High RiseConstruct a tower made of eight objects and stand on top of it The earliest and easiest place to get this is the Forelorn Wilderness. Shortly in you will come across 5 boxes conveniently awaiting your arrival. After stacking all 5 with the Wizard, head on up to the upper ledge and conjure 3 more on top of them. Jump on top for your trophy. You will need to upgrade the wizards amount of conjured items. (1, 2 and 3 skill points). Coop note: You can have each player conjure a set amount of planks and still earn the trophy. Planks are easier as you can simply make 8 and jump right on top. Video by: Rospondek  Cirque de ZoyaUsing grapple, swing around an object and reattach grapple again without touching any surface This can be done during the introductory level. After taking control of the assassin, you will come to a part where you will learn how to swing. After grappling with  keep swinging left and right until the rope begins to form a horizontal line. Just as it does, let go and reattach to earn your trophy.Video by: Rospondek  This Wasn't the Plan Make a bubble sink for three seconds This is easiest completed during the first tutorial level. After reaching the segment with bubbles, conjure a box and hold it over the bubble. Slowly drag it down so the bubble sinks for 3 seconds. Video by: Rospondek
