IMO, this game is not worth a buy at its current price. Most of the trophies are pretty easy and you'll get them just by playing the campaign, which you could finish in 2-3 hours. Getting platinum on every mission will probaby require the most effort, I can't say for sure if you'd be able to do those within a rental period.

I would Rent it, I bought it because like Transformers. A rent will net you everything and the MP is decent but is not outstanding to make it a purchase.

Definitely a rent, you should be able to beat the game and get a majority of the Trophies in only a few days. Getting Plat on all missions are by far the toughest Trophies to get, but if you're halfway decent at the game they're not all that much of a problem.

Most people think that what all I care about in life is collecting trophies. No, I'm a gamer. I play for fun. Trophies are the awards you get from completing a game and nothing more. And I have been completing games 100% since the day i was born.
I'm a gamer, like you.

Rent if you're just looking to play through the game and return it.

The Rent/Buy decision is a little tougher if you're going for platinum and are good at this type of game. As you can see above, it is possible to go platinum in a rental period depending on how skilled you are.

I bought it because (a) I'm a huge transformers fan, (b) I want to go for platinum, (c) I only spend a couple of hours a day at most playing, and (d) I'm not all that great at these types of games, so it'll take me longer than many of you to go platinum. I actually enjoy the game, so I don't regret my decision to buy one bit.

That being said, this game will probably drop in price relatively quickly. Expect to see people on ebay/amazon/craigslist selling used copies for half price or less relatively soon. If you're going to buy it and can stand waiting a month or so, pick it up once the price hits the $30 mark.

My overall opinion? Buy, but not right now.
