Introduction:

This is High Moon Studio's follow up to the 2010 critically successful Transformers War For Cybertron. Although this is a sequel, playing WFC is not strictly essential in order to enjoy this. That said, Transformers fans who have not played the original have missed out on what is considered the best Transformers game to date. Fall of Cybertron builds on, and exceeds, War for Cybertron in virtually every aspect. Transformers fans should enjoy the epic campaign which features a very solid story with excellent voice acting by many of the original cartoon voice actors.

The platinum for this title is not a short and quick affair. The main campaign can be completed in less that 10 hours, but it is quite likely that you will need to go back to clean up missing chapter specific trophies, collectables, and to get enough Energon Credits to buy and fully upgrade all weapons and items from the Teletraan 1 store. There are 2 multiplayer modes that will also require a significant amount of time. Escalation mode returns, but now has 4 maps, each requiring your team to reach Level 15. Standard muliplayer modes include Team Deathmatch, Capture the Flag, Conquest and Headhunter, and this will be the bulk of your Platinum time. At present the XP award rate is at 4x the base rate, and depending upon the modes you choose and any further bonus XP events, fully leveling all classes may take upwards of 30 hours.

Walkthrough:

There is no specific order required to tackle the 3 main aspects of this game. For simplicity I have chosen the campaign first, but certainly the multiplayer or escalation modes can be done prior to, or simultaneously with, the campaign.

Step 1: Campaign

I would suggest starting out on hard difficulty for the first playthrough. Hard is not really that challenging, and unlike the first game there are no major boss battles to contend with. Focus on upgrading your shield and health first, and try to collect all the blueprints as they will unlock weapons for purchase and upgrading. Your vehicle weapons deal a lot of damage, and you are slightly more resistant to injury in vehicle form. The Nucleon Charge Rifle (sniper rifle) is very powerful, and usually a 1-2 hit kill even on hard. Paired with the X18 Scrapmaker, you have a formidable short and long range tandem. There will be a few places that you get stuck, but nothing that should take more than half a dozen attempts. At the end of this step you will have all trophies for chapter completion, one of the two secret ending trophies, and probably some miscellaneous chapter, collection and Teletraan 1 Store trophies.

Trophies earned in this step

(B) The Exodus

(B) Defend the Ark

(B) Metroplex Heeds the Call

(B) Eye of the Storm

(B) Cut and Run

(B) Death from Above

(B) Belly of the Beast

(B) Combaticons Combine!

(B) Megatron Returns

(B) The Final Countdown

(B) Starscream's Betrayal

(B) Grimlock Smash

(B) The Battle is Far From Over!

(S) More Than Meets the Eye

(G) All Hail You!

(B) Till All Are One (either the Optimus or Megatron ending, depending on which character you choose)

Step 2: Campaign on Hard Mode (Optional)

If you prefer to start more casually, and chose easy for your first playthrough, then you will need to do a second playthrough on hard. If your first playthrough was hard, then this step is already complete.

Note that there is no New Game +, so you can simply select each Chapter from the Campaign menu, and change the difficulty to hard. These can be done in any order, and any upgrades from the first playthrough will carry forward.

It has also been confirmed that you can play any Chapter on easy, and exit the Chapter once you have reached the final checkpoint. Change difficulty to hard at the main menu (under Campaign Chapter select), then return to the main menu and hit Continue to complete the Chapter, resuming from the final checkpoint. Successfully doing this for each Chapter should unlock All Hail You! (thanks Crazy-TrainZ28 for the tip).

There are some reports of this trophy 'glitching' - it appears that the game automatically drops you to a easier difficulty if you are struggling in a particular section. I personally never had this happen, and the trophy unlocked after the final battle in Chapter 13. If the trophy does not pop after Chapter 13, go to the main menu and under Campaign check each Chapter by pressing :square: to change difficulty. There will be a small glowing icon under each difficulty that you have successfully completed for that Chapter.

Step 3: Campaign related clean up

You will likely need to finish getting some of the collectables, and any chapter specific tasks. Each chapter has a trophy for completion, and one for a specific action. Some you may get naturally, but most require you to go a bit out of your way. See the trophy guide for further descriptions. You will also need to replay the final chapter to choose the other character to unlock the second secret trophy.

At this point I would suggest switching to easy difficulty, as some of the trophies are much easier to accomplish. You will also need to grind out Energon credits to fully purchase, upgrade, and rate all items in the Teletraan 1 Store. Replaying Chapter 10 should net you over 20,000 Energon per playthrough.

Once this step is complete, you should have all of the offline trophies completed

Trophies earned in this step

(B) The Last Stand

(B) Carnage in C-Major

(B) Invisibility Spray

(B) Target Master 2.0

(B) Car Wash of Doom

(B) Club Con!

(B) Fusilateral Quintrocombiner

(B) I, Robot Master

(B) The Harder They Die

(B) Internal Affairs!

(B) Teletraan 1 Regular - Unobtainable

(S) Chop Shop

(B) Beachcomber

(S) Cassetticon Audiophile

(B) Octopunch Scavenger

(B) Till All Are One (either the Optimus or Megatron ending, whichever you didn't get in Step 1)

Step 4: Multiplayer - Unobtainable

The main goals here are to play each multiplayer mode, and collect the 4 trophies for each. There is also an MVP trophy, earned for placing first overall in any public match. It does not matter if you are on the winning or losing team but you must have the most points of any player. This can be earned in any mode. Finally, you will have to get all 4 character classes to rank 25. Once all characters are at maximum rank, you can activate Prime Mode. This resets your rank to 0, but unlocks more powerful upgrades, and will net you the final multiplayer trophy.

None of these trophies can be boosted in private lobbies.

Trophies earned in this step

(B) Reconfiguration Matrix

(B) Headmaster!

(G) King of the Scrap Heap

(S) What Prime Directives?

(B) Full Throttle Scramble Power!

(B) Ultimate Menasor

(B) Moonbase One

(B) Ballistic Energon Goodie

(B) Heavy Metal War

Step 5: Escalation - Unobtainable

For this mode, you will need to team up with 3 other players to face wave after wave of AI enemies. There are 4 maps, and there is a trophy for clearing the final wave (15) on each. This can be done with random players, but as always, forming a good team that communicates well will improve your probability of success. You can use the boosting thread here to find partners.

Trophies earned in this step

(B) Robotopossum

(B) Maccadams Old Oil House

(B) Space Pirates!

(B) Rust Marks

(S) Ultra Power Master

Unlock All Trophies

UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

Unlocks once you have successfully earned all other trophies. Transform and Roll Out!

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/F35.jpgThe Exodushttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Complete Chapter I

Story related, cannot be missed. Unlocks at the end of Chapter 1, which introduces you to the controls of the game and sets the story foundation.

Hard Tips;
Pretty easy level, not much should give you trouble here.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/05A.jpgDefend the Arkhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Complete Chapter II

Story related, cannot be missed. Unlocks at the end of Chapter 2.

Hard Tips;
Arguably this and Chapter 3 are the most difficult if you are playing through on hard as your first playthrough. You will have limited upgrades and weapons to assist, so take your time. In the turret section you will need to abandon it after the first assault wave or you will be overrun quickly. Don't forget to use :l2: to move quickly, and use cover. The Leapers may also cause some trouble, again move quickly and dodge to get behind them.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/025.jpgMetroplex Heeds the Callhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Complete Chapter III

Story related, cannot be missed. Unlocks at the end of Chapter 3.

Hard Tips;
Similar strategies as with Chapter 2. Stay in cover, dodge/strafe, and spam :l2: to move quickly. Don't stay in one place too long, and you won't get overrun as easily.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/B2E.jpgEye of the Stormhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Complete Chapter IV

Story related, cannot be missed. Unlocks at the end of Chapter 4.

Hard Tips;
Shouldn't be too difficult, use stealth to your advantage and try to take out enemies silently. The scanners in particular will cut you down quickly if you are seen. Pretty much all of this level can be completed in stealth.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/C3C.jpgCut and Runhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Complete Chapter V

Story related, cannot be missed. Unlocks at the end of Chapter 5.

Hard Tips;
This level is tough in a few places. Use the Nucleon Charge Rifle as much as possible in the sniper sections. You should be able to pick all of the enemies off from cover. 1-2 hits will kill you, so don't expose yourself. There is also a difficult interior section with shotgunners. Do not engage them in close quarter combat as they will shred you to pieces, with a maximum of 1-2 hits killing you. There is an X18 Scrapmaker on the upper back section of this room, and that should keep them off of you. Don't forget to reload ammo between waves.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/FB3.jpgDeath from Abovehttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Complete Chapter VI

Story related, cannot be missed. Unlocks at the end of Chapter 6.

Hard Tips;
Not a very hard level. You do need to take your time around the large gun. Again, I used the Nucleon Charge Rifle for much of this section. Move slowly, take your time, use cover. Even on hard, 1-2 hits from the Rifle takes down most enemies.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/CC8.jpgBelly of the Beasthttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Complete Chapter VII

Story related, cannot be missed. Unlocks at the end of Chapter 7.

Hard Tips;
Fairly short level. Focus on the wheel targets. The only tough part is the 2 titans at the end. Stay in vehicle mode and strafe. There is lots of health around.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/FA3.jpgCombaticons Combine!http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Complete Chapter VIII

Story related, cannot be missed. Unlocks at the end of Chapter 8.

Hard Tips;
Fairly easy level. Take your time through the first part. I would suggest using the Nucleon Charge Rifle from cover. As Bruticus, you are pretty much impervious.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/617.jpgMegatron Returnshttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Complete Chapter IX

Story related, cannot be missed. Unlocks at the end of Chapter 9.

Hard Tips;
Short level, but hard in the battle arena. The shotgunners will take you down a lot. Try to cut and run and keep in mind that the health and ammo respawns. Make sure that you don't get trapped. You can use the tank mode which helps, but is slow to move. If you get caught, the shotgunners will shred you. If possible, upgrade the Riot Cannon and change to the X18 Scrapmaker as your Heavy Weapon at the Teletraan before the fight.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/1C7.jpgThe Final Countdownhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Complete Chapter X

Story related, cannot be missed. Unlocks at the end of Chapter 10.

Hard Tips;
Megatron is pretty hardy in tank mode. If you upgrade his Riot Cannon, this level shouldn't give you much grief. The hardest part will be when you revive Trypticon, and the best strategy would be to strafe left and right in tank mode, using cover when possible.

Complete Chapter XI

Story related, cannot be missed. Unlocks at the end of Chapter 11.

Hard Tips;
First part as Starscream is a bit tricky. Use your vehicle bombs, and try to hack all of the terminals, as doing will create indestructible turrets that take out all the enemies. There is a tricky part with a corrosive acid trooper near the 3rd EMP location - I ended up swapping out to the Riot Cannon to get past it. The second part as Grimlock is pretty straightforward as he is nearly indestructible. Use Dinosaur mode whenever you can.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/C17.jpgGrimlock Smashhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Complete Chapter XII

Story related, cannot be missed. Unlocks at the end of Chapter 12.

Hard Tips;
Same as Part 2 of Chapter 11. Grimlock is very durable, especially in Dinosaur form. This shouldn't give you much trouble.

See All Hail You!

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/3BE.jpgAll Hail You!http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_gold.png

Complete Campaign - Hard

Unlocks at the end of Chapter 13, the final chapter in campaign. Completing the game on hard automatically unlocks the preceding trophies for normal and easy difficulty.

Chapter II: Save two Autobots when Optimus is downed by the first Leaper
Leapers are the Decepticons that have a jump and dash attack. When you first encounter one, it will be attacking 3 Autobots. You cannot save the first, but if you are quick you can save the other 2. You must destroy the Leaper by shooting out the 2 jet thrusters on its back. Much easier to do on Easy difficulty during your cleanup run.

Video credit to PowerPyx - thanks!
There are a few places to get this during Chapter 3. The video guide location did not work for me. If you progress a bit further through the Citadel, you will come to an area with Decepticons emerging from a jump ship. They cluster behind cover to fire down at you, and you should be easily able to get 5 at once. Trophy pops as soon as you get 5 with one strike. You can manually reload the checkpoint if it does not unlock.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/5F4.jpgInvisibility Sprayhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Chapter IV: Sneak through the Trash Compactor Facility undetected
At the very start of Chapter 4, you gain the ability to cloak. If you sneak up slowly behind a Decepticon you can execute a stealth kill. Go slowly and this should not be too difficult. There are about 8 enemies you can take out, or sneak past while cloaked. The trophy will pop when you activate the lever to move the noisy tram. Do not fire your weapons until you reach this part. If you fail, you can restart the Chapter and try again.

Chapter V: Shoot a Sniper out of the air with a scoped weapon
Fairly easy to do. There are a lot of snipers, and I would suggest you use the Nucleon Charge Rifle (sniper). As soon as you see a sniper start to move, fire, and you should get a one hit kill. Snipers are much easier to kill when mobile, and take 2-3 hits if stationary.

Chapter VI: Destroy all of the homing mines chasing Blast Off before they self destruct
At the start of Chapter 6, you get to fly through a destroyed city. Keep :l1: pressed and stay close to Blast Off. There will be a single mine at first that you cannot destroy. You will then come to a gate you must destroy to progress. From there on, you must destroy all mines before they self destruct. The first wave will have 4, the second 3, followed by a final single mine. This is the hardest one as it moves very quickly and destructs rapidly. If you miss it, reload the checkpoint before progressing to retry.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/C2B.jpgClub Con!http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Chapter VII: Ram a jet (on the ground or in the air)
During the second stage of this Chapter, you will have to destroy the front wheels on the transport but you will also notice that there are be jets flying overhead. In vehicle form, use :l1: to boost, then use the ram (:r2:) ability to launch off a raised part of the ground to hit any of the overhead jets, or boost straight at a jet if it has landed on the ground. I got the trophy for destroying one in robot form while it was standing. You can keep restarting checkpoint if you do not get this by the time the titans appear.
Once you take over as Bruticus and approach the turbine, you should see two structures that look like football field goal posts. The idea is to lauch an autobot through one. It is pretty easy as there are usually a few standing right below. Use :circle: to execute an uppercut and it should send the autobots flying.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/99B.jpgI, Robot Masterhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Chapter IX: Destroy all images of Starscream and his Statues
Once you have control of Megatron, you must destroy all of the TV screens and statues. This is a short level, but the images reset if you die. I would suggest doing this on easy, as you should easily be able to get through without dying.

There are 3 screens in the initial room (1 big, 2 smaller blue screens), 2 big screens and a statue in the corridor after the jail cells, 2 small blue screens at the room with the Teletraan before the lift, then a single statue behind Starscream that you can destroy.

The other 2 statues in the final battle cannot be destroyed. The trophy does not unlock until after dethroning Starscream.

Video credit to PowerPyx - thanks!
This one is tough, so it's probably easier to do on your easy mode clean up. Near the end when Trypticon is reanimating, you will be swarmed by enemies coming in to the room. Get up on the scaffolding and try to wait for a group to get clustered, then use :r2: to hover and press it again to slam down

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q5veAoRdFRQ]Transformers Fall of Cybertron - Internal Affairs! Trophy / Achievement Guide - YouTube[/ame]

Video credit to PowerPyx - thanks!
At the beginning of Chapter 11, you blast through a door then will have to plant 3 EMP Detpaks. There are 5 terminals in total to hack. The first will be where you start. There are 2 close together as you go to the EMP location on the right, then one near each of the other 2 EMP locations. This will take a few tries, but if you fly around and memorize the locations, it will be easier. You will know if you missed one as an alarm will sound if a guard activates it before you hack it. If this happens, restart the checkpoint to go back to the blast door. Do not set any EMP Detpak until you have hacked all terminals.

Chapter XII: Kill a Leaper in the air with an explosive barrel

[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyR8TUbgiKc]Transformers Fall of Cybertron - Slap the Grimlock Trophy / Achievement Guide - YouTube[/ame]

Video credit to PowerPyx - thanks!
Near the end of Chapter 12, you will have to throw barrels to open a gate. After the first gate, 2 Leapers will appear. Kill them normally to progress to another gate where you need to throw 2 barrels. There will be 2 waves of Leapers that now appear, with barrels scattered around. I would suggest killing them all apart from one, soften this last remaining one up, then grab a barrel and wait for him to jump. It shouldn't be hard to get a 1 hit kill with a direct hit. You can reload the checkpoint if you fail.

Spend 250,000 Energon in the Teletraan 1 store

This unlocks once you have spent a total of 250,000 credits at the Teletraan 1 store. This is cumulative, and carries over through chapter select. You will need to grind some credits after completing the campaign in order to purchase and upgrade all weapons. Replay Chapter 10 in its entirety to gain 20,000+ Energon Credits per playthrough. If you have purchased all Perks and Weapons/Upgrades without getting this, simply keep buying consumable TECH until it unlocks.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/AC4.jpgReconstructorhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_bronze.png

Fully upgrade one weapon

This requires you to purchase all available upgrades for one weapon. Primary weapons have 3 initial upgrades, then a final upgrade that unlocks once you have purchased the first 3. Heavy weapons have only 2 upgrades. It costs roughly 15,000+ credits to fully upgrade a primary weapon, and 5,000+ for a heavy weapon.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/1215/BB9.jpgMaster Builderhttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png

Fully upgrade all weapons

This requires you to purchase all available upgrades for all weapons. Primary weapons have 3 initial upgrades, then a final upgrade that unlocks once you have purchased the first 3. Heavy weapons have only 2 upgrades. It costs 15,000+ credits to fully upgrade a primary weapon, and 5,000+ for a secondary weapon. This will be the most expensive part of the Teletraan 1 Store, as there are 16 weapons in total (8 primary, 8 heavy). By the time this is complete, you would have spent most of what you need to spend for Monacus Spender.

Note that you cannot get this until you have found all Blueprints, as many of the weapons are locked (and not visible in the Teletraan) at the start of the game.

Rate all weapons, weapon upgrades, and equipment

UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

Note: Whilst you can still buy new weapons, weapon upgrades and equipment now the servers are gone, you won't be able to rate anything.

Once you have unlocked and purchased a weapon, TECH or perk, you have the ability to rate it. Simply rate all items for this trophy to unlock, including each weapon upgrade.

Note that you cannot get this until you have found all Blueprints, as most of the TECH and weapons are locked (and not visible in the Teletraan) at the start of the game. Also, you will need to complete the game to collect the two bonus weapons and rate both of them (they have no upgrades).

In total, there will be 8 Primary Weapons with 4 upgrades each (32 in total), 8 Heavy Weapons with 2 upgrades each (16 in total), 1 bonus Primary and 1 bonus Heavy weapon (neither of which has upgrades) awarded upon completion of the game, 10 Perks and 8 TECH items. You must rate all of the above in order to unlock the trophy.

There have been numerous reports of this 'glitching' by users who are not completely rating all items. Most often it seems that weapon upgrades are being missed. If you have not unlocked the trophy and have already acquired Chop Shop, go back and recheck every weapon to ensure that you have rated each upgrade.

Purchase all weapons and perks

Once you have purchased all weapons and perks, this will unlock. Perks are all available from the onset of the game, but most weapons are not. You gain access to additional weapons as you find their Blueprints. You cannot unlock this trophy until after Chapter 9, where you find the last Blueprint.

Note - There are two bonus weapons added at the completion of the campaign. You do not need these in order to unlock the trophy.

Collect all blueprints

These are hidden throughout Chapters 2-9. Collecting them unlocks TECH and weapons for purchase in the Teletraan 1 Store. Finding these should be a priority as once you have purchased a weapon, you can swap it out for any character at any Teletraan Store. Check this guide for all locations.

Open fifteen Armory Recreators in Campaign or Escalation

Recreators are a random generator of weapons or TECH. There are multiple Recreators in most levels, and they can be opened for 250 Energon Credits. You can farm them if you die/restart checkpoint in an area where there is a Recreator, otherwise you will probably get this in Chapter 3 or 4 if you open all of the Recreators you come across.

Reach max level in all four classes

UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

This will be the longest trophy in the game. Each of the 4 multiplayer classes has 25 rank levels. You must reach Level 25 on all 4 to unlock this trophy. Expect to put in a lot of hours here. Conquest will likely be the fastest mode for levelling up.

You will unlock new weapons and special abilities, as well as upgrades for both, as you progress through the levels.

Earn MVP in any game mode during a public Multiplayer match

UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

Earned for placing first overall in any public match. It does not matter if you are on the winning or losing team, but you must have the most points of any player. If you are not good at racking up kills, you can get a lot of points for capturing and defending nodes in Conquest. This will probably come naturally at some point during the grind to King of the Scrap Heap.

Capture three flags in a single CTF game during a public Multiplayer match

UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

Possibly the hardest trophy in the game. This requires you to capture and return all 3 enemy flags during a public match of CTF. Since there are only 3 flags, you have your work cut out for you. It is also worth noting you cannot return a flag to your base while the enemy has your flag in transit. This is probably best done as part of a team, where you choose the Scout and have a Scientist to heal you and Destroyer/Titan to guard you. Move as a team and communicate. It's also possible to boost this at off-peak hours if you're having trouble.

Personally capture all 3 nodes in a conquest game during a public Multiplayer match

UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

Easily accomplished, simply be present at each of the three nodes when they are captured. It doesn't matter which order or how many teammates are there with you. Please note that this must be done during the same game, but it doesn't matter if you end up winning or losing the match.

Return five heads at once in a headhunter game during a public Multiplayer match

UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

Another difficult trophy, this requires you to deliver 5 heads at once. You can head for kills, and can also get them if you snatch them when another player dies. The best strategy would be to hang back as a Scientist and swoop in to steal the heads. Be aware that as soon as you are carrying a head, your position on the map is visible to all opposing players. The trophy unlocks as soon as you deliver the heads. Please note that all 5 heads must be delivered at the same time. Delivering 3 and then 2 will not work.

Kill 6 different opposing players in a TDM game during a public Multiplayer match

UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

Not as hard as it sounds. Although there are only 6 opposing players on a team, during peak hours, players often leave/join so it is possible to kill more than 6 unique players during any game. Once you have killed the 6th player, the trophy will unlock.

Complete wave 15 in Escalation (Ancients)

UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

For Escalation, you will need to team up with 3 other players to face wave after wave of increasingly difficult AI enemies. There are 4 maps, and there is a trophy for clearing the final wave (15) on each. Unlike in WFC, you can now choose the difficulty, and in general the maps are shorter and slightly easier than WFC. You should be able to complete all 15 waves in under an hour.

You need to know the strengths of each class and how to be a teammate. If you choose the Scientist, you are the team healer. Don't rush into battle, as you won't last long. Communicate and stick together. This can be done with random players, but as always, forming a good team that communicates well will improve your probability of success. You can use the Boosting Thread to find partners.

It has also been noted that if you randomly drop in on a game in progress, you will get the trophy as long as you are present at the completion of wave 15, even if you weren't there for the entire game. So you might get lucky and drop in a game already on wave 14.

Spend 100,000 credits in Escalation

UNOBTAINABLE DUE TO SERVER CLOSURE

As you progress through Escalation maps, you earn credits for kills and surviving waves. These credits can be spent opening doors to new sections, purchasing new weapons and upgrading them, as well as on health and ammo. Once you have spent 100,000 total credits, this will unlock. Credits spent are cumulative across all Escalation maps. On average you can earn about 10,000 credits in a full 15 wave Escalation session, so you may well need to replay maps to earn more credits after obtaining all of the individual Escalation trophies.

Open fifteen Armory Recreators in Campaign or Escalation

You can farm them if you die/restart checkpoint in an area where there is a Recreator, otherwise you will probably get this in Chapter 3 or 4 if you open all the Recreators you come across.

You can also do this via escalation if you are playing all mp related stuff before sp.

And for "ballistic energon goodie" if you kill players with multiple heads IT HELPS, I killed a guy with 5 and he dropped all+ 1 (6), saved me alot of work, and I highly reccomend being a scout for "moonbase one" as you're quicker in robot mode (the only way to transport a flag...)

Overall I give this game a personal 3/10, even the mp grind aint so bad...so far.

Moonbase One is actually the Conquest trophy. You mean Ultimate Menasor, and yes, I did note that Scout is the only way to go there.

Do I still get the escalation trophy if I joined part way through an escalation match? Or do I have to play the full match?

This was because I've been joining matches at Waves such as 8 and always quit to make sure.

EDIT: I just joined a match in wave 14 and got the escalation trophy for that map so you still can get the trophy.

I think that you should explain better either in the Roadmap or under the "All Hail You!" trophy that if you die too many times in a certain level, the game lowers the difficulty automatically without telling you. There have been numerous people where the trophy (or achievement) didn't unlock despite playing the whole campaign on Hard.

You should put in there that if the trophy doesn't unlock, they need to check in chapter select what difficulty that particular level was completed on, with instructions on how to do it. Just because you personally didn't encounter it, there are many people who will and might not be able to figure out how to check as it is not very apparent at first glance.

Also, you mention in the Roadmap that you need to do a complete second playthrough on Hard if you completed it on an easier difficulty. While this is technically true, you can complete each level on Hard by doing chapter select. You get to keep all your upgrades and weapons if you do this. Some people might misread this and start an entirely new campaign, losing everything. You should make it clear in both the Roadmap and "All Hail You!" that it can be done with chapter select.

What chapters are good to farm Energon? You should mention that in "Monacus Spender". Give some tips.

"Teletraan 1 Regular" - you should mention that you need to collect all of the Blueprints in order to rate all the TECH items. You can't get this trophy until after Chapter 9 (if you've picked up all the Blueprints).

Good guide otherwise.

Nice guide so far!! it might be helpful to some people if you mentioned the best chapter to grind in for the credits to max all the weapons out.

Also, you state in your roadmap that it is required to do a full playthrough on hard... Not true... the ONLY part that you need to beat on hard is the last checkpoint of each chapter. Heres how it work and feel free to add this to your TG/RM.

1) Play a chapter until the last checkpoint in that chapter and then quit to the main menu.

2) Go into chapter select (campaign option) and change the difficulty to hard, then back out to the main menu.

3) Now choose continue and finish the chapter.

The game gives you credit for beating the chapter on hard, making your hard playthrough a breeze!!

I *was* going to mention this but some people might see this as glitching to finish the level. At least some of the community at x360a seems to think so. I personally don't. You could do it in the first game, and I think High Noon intended this to be in the game since they never fixed WfC, so I say have at it!

Here's a vague list of the last checkpoints for each level if you decide to do this:

I just confirmed it, this does in fact work. I just got to the last part of the chapter, followed instructions, beat chapter, and checked the difficulty completion on chapter select and its there.

crap.. I have all items and rated them but no trophy. 8( maybe rebooting the game can help?

Did you rate the the consumable items as well? I thought it glitched on me when I had all weapons and power ups rated but found out on both sets of consumables you have to purchase it and THEN rate it while you have one in your inventory. You can't simply rate the consumable. It MUST be purchased to be rated.
