Wasted money on Fan Damacies?

So after playing for at least a few minutes every day to keep the candies rolling in, I stopped playing for about two weeks. As a result, my rank dropped a lot. To get it back up, I started using more candy tickets.

I figured that since I had a lot of money in my wallet, I'd buy a few Fan Damacies from the PlayStation Store to help. I did so through the Store Clerk on the King. Purchased X5 Fan Damacies (it was subtracted from my wallet).

But... nothing happened. I had 3 before and I still had 3 when the transaction was finished. The hell? Did I just get ripped off?

Not gonna make a big deal about less than $2 but still. That's kind of annoying. Or am I just missing something really obvious?

Purchased Fan Damacies don't show up in your in-game stats. They only appear if you are making a purchase and don't have enough found ones to cover it. When you go to make that purchase, the Vita will check your account to see how many you have bought. Rest assured, you didn't get hosed.

Alright, thanks, that's good to hear. So could you just explain how it should work exactly? If I use my three fan damacies, then go to the Store Clerk on the king, and select "exchange fan damacy" is that when it will find my purchased ones? Just trying to make sure what you meant by "making the purchase".

Here's an example: say you have found three Fan Damacies, you've purchased another ten from PSN, and you go to exchange some to unlock a DLC level. The level unlock costs ten Fan Damacies. The game will note that you have three (the ones you found) in stock, then check PSN to see if you have purchased any there. You have, of course, so the game takes the three you found and seven of the ones you bought from PSN, then unlocks the level. You will now have zero Fan Damacies in stock, but there will still be three in your PSN account.

Same goes for exchanging Fan Damacies for tickets: the game will check PSN if you have no Fan Damacies in stock.
