Opinions on Top Gun (PSN) - Page 2

Im a big fan of HAWX 1 and i have HAWX 2 on pre-order. This game is almost %90 just like HAWX. Its not as bad as i thought it would be. However its over priced at $15. Would best be sold at $10. Still a good game. Its not a great PSN game like PJ Monsters or Fat Princess. Its a classic play for 1 week and pass PSN game.

That's OK. I noticed that the HAWX2 demo has both the carrier landing and the refueling sequences reminiscent of the old Konami Top Gun for NES... if you truly miss them here, that is.

I played Hawx 2 demo today and hated it D: is this like hawx 2?

for people judging this to other flight games-namely hawx thats understandable as you want an idea or comparision but remember this game was designed as a psn title-even if hawx is the same price now this was never intended as retail quality=-the vioce acting and story are truly laughable-i mean they made a big deal that they got the original screen writer back-if they paid the guy any more than 30quid for penning this they have been ripped off.the guy hasnt wrote anything in 6 years,judging by this theres a reason lol-(they shoulda used the inititave they showed in hiring him to instead pay tom skerritt or micheal ironside to do voices,but with the negativity out of the way i think the graphics are pretty good for a psn title and the mp is lots of fun i thought-as a top gun game-if you are a fan of the movie i dont know if this really captures anything from the film though

HAWX 2 (or the demo of it at least) simulates landing and air-refuelling a plane in the same way that Pixel Junk Racers simulates driving a car.

I'm waiting for the inevitable discount for Top Gun. Too many bad reviews to part with even a small amount of money as £7.99.

Gotta say, I'm really liking Top Gun. The single player campaign is short, but that's fine to me. MP seems fun, based on one deathmatch.
This'll keep my inner fighter pilot happy until Ace Combat: Assault Horizon is released.
