Multiplayer Question???

Does anyone knows what is the minimum amount players to start a multiplayer match? Or the multiplayer trophies can be boosted in a private match?

I'm assuming just need 2 players to start a multiplayer match since one of the trophies says

Win a co-op mission with at least one other player

and the other 2 not too sure since you need to be in a team deathmatch/ deathmatch game.

Ya, I was inquiring on that the most those multiplayer matches if it can be done with just 2 people.
