What are everyones thoughts on this game?

Im thinking i might get this but just wanting to know peoples thought about the game, anybody actually got this game or played it.

I played it and it SUCKS. Worst game ever and prolly, most expensive game ever cause of the plastic. Well, i really really think no one should get this, the game is unplayable in normal+ difficulty. If ur playing in easy, well u won't do much but at least ull be able to progress thru the game, but its retarded how bad the game is.

Ya know... it's really sad to say that I have to agree with Excstazy.

This game is really bad. I got it for Christmas and I was kinda looking forward to it. Mainly because of the fact that I love any game thats skateboarding (but the "Skate" franchise is the best) and also the fact that I've been skateboarding for about 15 years and I thought I might be somewhat able to manuver the board around.

But I was dead wrong. The game is really quite boring besides from having horrible play control. Honestly... I got fed up with the game half way through the tutorial. Playing on causual is the best way to play because of the controlling but it also makes it just a game about doing an ollie over and over.

I would definitely recommend skipping this game.

I'd also love to know if anyone ever gets platinum on this game... because if they do they deserve to get free copies of any Tony Hawk game released in the future.

But maybe I'm just bitter over this bad game

Game looks good, i like the combo system and game modes but god is it frustrating trying to get the board to do what you want.

Example: You peddle to move forward by sliding your "foot" on the right side of the board. Thats fine but sooooo many times i've been trying to peddle and fall slightly, whether it be a ledge or a step. but if your in the air, and you have your "foot" blocking the IR sensor it will attempt to perform a grab move.

foot is in quotes because i gave up on standing on that thing. Hands only

Honestly, if you don't get this game as a gift don't buy it. I received it as a gift and I have been trying to get some of the tophies, but they're very challenging. Most of the time the board won't do what you want it to do which, in return, leads to frustation. I had planned on platinuming the game and making some sort of a guide, but i'm having second thoughts at the moment. It is, however, a good exercise.

only got 40 % of trophys then traded in skateboard control wont do what it should they need to fix that crap thing if going to make new one
