unfortunately this game has been put back to a 2013 release

Tomb Raider Reboot Pushed to 2013 - IGN

its disapointing as im not sure what will get released this year out of gta5, the last of us,

tomb raider and god of war ascension are now the first quarter of next year.

not really alot else im looking forwards to, apart from darksiders 2, need for speed, fifa 13 and assassins creed 3.

MAYBE ALL THESE GAMES ARE CHANGING THERE RELEASE TO 2013 FOR 1 SIMPLE REASON, THAT WE DONT YET KNOW

fuck this. that is incredibly disappointing. the fact that we have been waiting on this game FOREVER now... with no news. it was revelead december 2010.. we got great stuff till january 2011... didnt get shit til june's e3 2011... and then a few screenshots fall 2011... and now we havent seen shit since then... and we're rewarded with a delay those crystal habit things they do are crap and they reveal uninteresting things.

i think the fans deserve to know the reason and not the standard "we wanna work on making the game better" that all the developers come out with when something is delayed.

ugh! at least there are other games to look forward this fall, but i wasn't expecting a delay on tomb raider tbh.

There is only one reason why so many games are being delayed and that's Black Ops 2, This is because everyone knows that if their game gets released close to when that does, it will get flattened .

Gtav is NOT going to be released this year. As for the topic at hand not surprised as very little has been shown for this so far

black opps 2 alone wouldnt put other games being released off, its a different genre for a start. plus i hate call of duty games like alot of other people. theres one every year so that wouldnt make game devs change there dates.

it probably because either they want it polished like they said and to get the game perfect for release or i think maybe gta5 is getting a release, and if you put gta5 with ac3, resident evil 6, possible the last of us, then they might think its more sensible to release after xmas,

and no one knows when gta5 will be released so it was just a comment, no one knows any facts about if it will be released this year or next year,

This was about the only game I was looking forward to this year. I mean yeah there was some others that interested me, But considering we haven't heard anything about this game in a few months I'm not surprised it got delayed.

"YOU" dont like it doesnt mean that developers are not aware that there is a finite amount of money to spent and that if you release in the same window you will not recieve as big of a piece of the pie as you otherwise would.

As for GTA take a look at history and what T2/rockstar has done in the past, thats all we have to go on and all signs point to next spring.

Yeah, bummed this one, Gow4 and Bioshock Infinite aren't coming out until next year, but if it makes them more polished, then I am all for it.
