I'm not a fan of any Tomb Raider game because there just too boring for me and its been milked so many times it makes me puke to I die. But on this one it looks like I might change my mind. MIGHT though so don't think your gonna be impressing me really easily.

You're right it's a prequel, but unfortunately it is not a prequel to the current Tomb Raider story as you know it. If you remember Tomb Raider 4 (Revelations) you play as a young Lara croft as she starts her adventure as an archaeologist.

This new Tomb Raider is a completely separate story officially and has no connection whatsoever to the previous games.

Basically it's the second reboot, (Tomb Raider Legend was the first)

It's a similar concept, but it takes place on an uncharted island off the coast of Japan.

Seriously, 2012 is going to be a great gaming year for me. This title has got me hooked since I saw footage at E3. I was not a Tomb Raider fan having only played the first game way back but this opened my eyes too the series and as of now I'm playing through the Tomb Raider Trilogy and it's great.

Very excited.
