Gold Treasure of first level Bolivia

I need a gold treasure in this level I know where it is
the only thing it hard is grabing that things
the area is where a big area where you have to put box on the pressure plate
I always mess up
please tell me the step to how to get it
( I did everything on the treasure video and I still mess up)
Please help me

make sure u step off the pressure plate on the left side before the door goes all the way up

Has this changed in the PS3 version? Stepping on the plate enables a cut scene and I can't get off it before its too late. This comment seems correct;

This doesnt seem to work on the PS3 tomb raider trilogy version , where once the gate opened in full it would now open half way

No, it's still do-able. After the cut scene, place boxes on the 2 pressure pads off of the bridge and leave the one on the bridge alone. This will make the door fully close.

Now you can place one box on a pressure pad off the bridge, and one on the pad on the bridge. Then stand on the other pad until the door is partially opened and jump off.

Yes. Gratzi. You just saved my girlfriend the misery of hearing me dropping F-bombs for no apparent reason.

Was about to give up on that one.

Oh, is that how it was supposed to be done? I had the same problem with the gate opening too far during the cutscene, so instead I just rolled over the corner of the pressure plate, which would trigger the cutscene while Lara rolled off the pressure plate again (so the gate wouldn't open). I figured that probably wasn't the right way to do it.
