Prototype pin??

Has anyone unlocked the prototype pin yet? I have all of the clubs unlocked but no pin. Do I have to unlock the outfits as well? If anyone knows, clue me in. Thanks.

Have you equipped one of them in your bag. I think its for that, not unlocking it. Not 100% though.

for the pin yes but for the driver silver trophy you do not

Thanks. OK. Now I have a real problem. I have all of the prototype stuff unlocked and still no pin. I have the trophy, no damn pin. Any ideas on how to fix this?

i have the same exact problem, and it's really frustrating! i have tried playing a tournament with all nike clubs and then switching back to prototype and the pin won't unlock. i only have a few pins left and i dont need this to hold me back from a platinum. i am hoping that ea patches this along with numerous other glitches ive encountered. but if anyone has suggestion i will try them out. thanks

To all that posted above, I have all of the pins, and I had no troubles obtaining any of them. I'm sure everyone already does this, but just to be on the safe side, double check that you are saving your character changes after equipping the Hammerhead prototypes.

The pin description simply says " unlock the prototype clubs ", which I have done. Worst case scenario I would have to start a new game for the pins, but that would suck. I've selected them, saved them, switched to others & then back. No luck.

prototype pin is the one that won't pop if you purchased upgraded sponsors from the psn store. The trophies unlock and you get the clubs but evidently the pin doesn't unlock. Not sure if they mean this to be like that or not.

Thanks. This must be my problem. Any fix for this? Start over for pins I guess.

Unfortunately, all the people I've seen with this problem haven't been able to get around it.

It blows that this pin is sooo far down the line in the trophy quest. I am not sure how the game works when restarting, so I would hold off till PSN comes up if you have any of the harder to get trophies and they are not synched.

This is a link to one of the threads on the EA forums talking about it. There are many, but this one, a guy talks about how he was actually able to get his pin after deleting the dlc. He has the xbox version though and the dlc is seperate and on the ps3 all dlc is one file supposedly. I don't have upgraded golfers so I can't check on that. Might be worth a try though before you start completely over.
