Hello there guys, i'd thought it'd be a good a idea to create a thread in order to discuss this upcoming show, i loved the first show and am really excited about this one.

You can watch the first 2 episodes early at the show's website, the official premiere will be on April 14 on Nickelodeon of course.

Here's the link to the site:
Legend of Korra: Korra Nation

Sadly it's region locked and only available for those of you on the US however there are ways to get around that but the rules of the site prevent me from sharing those so you're on your own on that one.

Anyways i just watched the first 2 episodes and it really seems great, it has good balance between drama and comedy as we'd expect from Avatar, the art is absolutely beautiful and it looks stunning in HD. I have to say i was kinda worried and thought they would mess up the show but those first 2 episodes were great and i hope they can keep it up.

So what do you guys think about it?

I just finished watching both of the new episodes and I really like it. It's just like you said, it's a good mix between drama and comedy just like the original. I think this show definitely has potential, it has a good story structure set up from the previous series and if they continue making episodes like this I'm sure it'll turn out pretty good.

The episodes are out? THANK YOU. The Last Airbender was one of my favorite "cartoon" series, so this one should be right up my alley as well. Again, thanks for the heads up.

Having watched those episodes, I honestly think this new season will far exceed the original series, and I really liked the original! I like the future setting (well, future in their term anyways) and the plot seems like it will be good, not to mention the action and comedy!

If it has some/all the original cast, it could be a very good show!

I loved this series as well. It was also one of my favourite cartoon series that is not anime. I never got to watch the last couple of episodes, though. I'll be doing that now!

I had no idea they released it earlier! Dang... I watched it on Nickelodeon...

It was an awesome show! I loved Avatar:TLA, so I'm glad they brought the writers back!

It was so good, I downloaded the FREE two episodes on iTunes!

Can't wait for the 3rd episode coming out tomorrow night!

This series has a lot of potential considering that there's an interesting premise of anti-bending playing a role in the story. I just think that Amon, who's played by Steven Blum, is very cool and a worthy foe against Korra. I've watched all three episodes and feel like if the quarrel against Amon will conclude this season or go into the next one. Also, will they stay in Republic City, or go traveling because that's what I liked about The Last Airbender.

Since it's a whole new cast and set a good 70 years after the first, I'm not sure I'll watch this. There were some things left open at the end of the first show that made it seem like they'd move right into a second season from there. The fact that they aren't answering those questions leaves me with no interest in a new time period.

They might go around to other places, I'm sure... But most of it might be in Republic City...

Of course, I don't know of plot twists... so, I can't say for certain they "can" stay in Republic City...

I really doubted that they would have something more with Avatar Aang... He just saved the world. I didn't think there was much more he could do... Especially if it were to be him in his younger years. Who would want to watch a "50" year old Aang with his journeys?

They needed a new "teen".

The first two episodes are free on iTunes... Or you could find it online for free too. Just check it out. I'm sure you won't mind it.

I understand you love the old cast... how can you not?! Lol. But, give this one a chance. I found it to be a bit entertaining. Plus, Katara is still in it (although she's 80 years old).

They did mention in the beginning about Zuko's mom... one of the grandchildren were like "What happened to Zuko's mom?!" And when Katara was about to tell the story, she was cut off by another question from another grandchild! Perhaps, we may actually find out later on throughout the show...
