The flintstones were an awesome show, and i think seth MacFarlane will do a good job with it, but at the same time i really wish the television and movie business would leave older shows and movies behind. I mean with all the remakes and prequels out there is hollywood out of original ideas or something. I'd rather see MacFarlane come out with a brand new show, than try and satisfy everyone's needs and expectations that come with the Flintstones.

There's a little problem with your statement there, champ. It should be "If you don't RESPECT others opinions". Liking everyone's opinions would simply make me a lemming and would insinuate that I don't have the ability to form one on my own. You know, you're totally right. Call of Duty is in fact the pinnacle of gaming excellence simply because of it's sales. Thank you for shedding a light on this, you clearly know what you're talking about. I personally enjoy the Flintstones, and he's going to ruin it simply because of what he does. He's going to turn it into a pathetic series with immature jokes (which is exactly what all 3 of his other shows are like) and change it completely from what made it great. The series was put to rest but I'm guessing because of his greed, he can't stop making money and has to drag up an older TV show that DID leave a good impression when it ended and fuck that all up. That's my opinion. You don't respect it? Too bad. It's mine. MacFarlane doesn't even deserve the rights, so yes I'm going to complain about it. But no, apparently I don't have a base for that theory so it means nothing.

I've followed Seth MacFarlane for quite a few years since he originally wrote for Hanna-Barbera back in the 1990's, but I'm not a fan of Family Guy or American Dad so I can't say I'm to excited for this. Nothing will beat the original in my opinion.

If money makes something good, then you have a pathetic view on media. Transformers is an awful film series, it makes tons of money. Pirates of the Caribbean hasn't been good since the first movie. It still makes tons of money. Money just means mindless drones go and see the movie because they buy into the bullshit advertising, rather than actually thinking and seeing a quality film or tv show.

I for one will give the show a chance until passing judgement. The Flintstones was so long ago that the comedy was too old fashioned for me when I saw it as a kid. A new take on it maight be quite good.
