Easy way to beat Nightmare Train

you need good +xx% attack and health items for yourself and your partner. I don't know what items do you have but you need at least those two items with an A or S rank if you're having trouble.

whooped his ass second real try with alise (me)+lars main above strategy . I was lucky to have s rank 415 hp and a rank 80% attack on lars and other good a/b items on alisa... fast and easy with your strategy ty so much... now for nancy and gallery

heres an easy/cheap way:

1) on campaign, 1st level, unlock devil jin.
2) ghost train, spam eye beams at the front of the train
3) alissa tanks
4) get lucky and time them right
5) pick up gatling gun and shoot devil jin off the side

--- easily done, did it with devil jin only having a 50% atk item...i got impatient for hunting with him

Yeyah finally did it thnx for the advice but a really good way to make it easier is get thunder and ice equipped for both of em they both stun the enemies and make it alot easier

i found ice and fire helpfull. i got the trophy on my 7-8 trys (i got really lucky) my main character is steve but i was going to try doing this with miguel. i was farming on this stage and forgot about the gattling gun, and when DJ Turn up i fort might aswell lay some led in him befor he kills me, and "hay presto" off he flew of the train. fire was great doing an extra 68 damage on the odd occasion and ice made it alot easya to stun then grab them, making the group of enemys back up abit and making it easya to handle the swarm on minnions. my life was about 360, damage reduce 8, 98% item drop, i only had 1 s rank, and alias wasnt very well customized up.

was plaining on use miguel throw (X+Sqaure) which launch the enemy back the way they came, was going to try and use this on dj but i think the gattling is a better option but it might be hard to get him in the right postion for him to fly off.

I beat Nightmare Train this morning after trying this technique, it really helped ALOT. But I had to spend some time farming for A&S items the night before. But Lars as your AI partner is alot better than Alisa, he kicks ass. So if you stay behind him for most of the ordeal and throw in some attacks, you'll be good. I had to defeat the last 5 or so gargoyles myself though since he died at the end, but I revived him as soon as I destroyed the last gargoyle and DJ spawned. Nightmare Train is no joke ha, but this technique helped me alot, took about 4 tries after getting all the proper items. Thanks again

Have you tried checking out some Youtube videos? There's loads out there, that can give some good tips.

This one I found quite good.

Also make sure you farm the level for some good items (A or S Rank) with your priority being a high HP item.

I was farming the level when I accidently won, I had a bunch of S rank items on, which helped out alot, I wouldn't recommend anything lower then S, Espically if you're having trouble.
