Survivor Missions

I have no idea if someone still plays this game let alone buys the DLC for it, but all I gotta say about these so called Survivor Missions, that it's trophy hunters nightmare.

I actually liked Dark Void as a game, cool jetpack riding and shooting. What it comes to the trophies and especially the DLC, it's just very frustrating. I have now tried 3 times in a row to get that high score silver trophy at the Battle of Ghen Grag (and the 35 minute Mission trophy at the same time) but the game refuses to let me.

First, I get to the wave 8 and the game starts to lag like hell. I get nervous and miss my every shot. Of course I had the time pressure handicap, so to the zero the clock goes.

Second, I get to the wave 6 and riding my jetpack getting to the next battle. I try again and again to shut down the engine and land but no. To the wall I smash.

Third, I got to wave 5 and threw some grenades. The whole game froze.

This is beyond irritating. Your 30 minute run of concentration can be ruined by glitches ANYTIME! I'm certain I've had these trophies in my collection hours ago if it weren't for them. Have they even tested this DLC before the release? Might have been a good idea to involve a continue option between the waves. The whole concept of these missions is great, but is ruined miserably.

Feel free to post your own experiences of the DLC. I kinda want to know if anyone else is having these issues...

To avoid the lag you need to micro-manage the weapon drops and kill ALL the slugs. I don't have this DLC yet, I'm just posting what's been written elsewhere.

Has the Survivor lagging been fixed yet?

Ok, sounds like the lag can be managed somehow...

It's still mindblowing there is a lag this bad everyone is experiencing and is in the published game DLC! It just makes me think the missions just aren't tested before put into PS store.

I've had lag issues before for example in Dark Souls but in Dark Void it's just unbearable x(

edit: Ok, I got the Epic Hero trophy and the key was indeed kill all the damn slugs... Or in my case, just melee kill those hard ass shotgunners so they don't drop their slugs.

My heart was beating like crazy when I fought those 2 knights at the end x) Ended up with 4,5 million points :P Now for the Ace trophies...
