Millionaire
Achieve a Credit balance of 1,000,000
This should be the last trophy you unlock. After finishing the challenge mode I had only accumulated around 200,000 credits. You can get the rest in many ways, there are a lot of modes the game still has to offer so explore and win more credits for the kitty. But it all comes down to the grind at the end of it. The shortest race is “Homestead Oval”. 1 lap takes 30-40 seconds depending on the car. If you set the race to 1v1 you will find that 1 lap isn’t enough to overtake the other driver. Set the transmission to manual and as soon as the dots on the screen fill up and flash red, flick the analog stick up. Most of the time, if you get the gear changes swift enough you will overtake him and claim 2,100. Rinse and repeat and you’ll have you plat in no time. There are more techniques you can use to get this trophy as fast as possible but the trick you need to always use is to turn as slow as possible. Gently tilt the analog stick and you will lose less speed this way. A forum user has been able to clear a full grid on a 1 lap race by using those techniques and tinkering with the race aid settings. this is quite easy to grind earning you 5,250(with clean lap) every 38 seconds

here is what im using if it helps anybody who needs the grind

car - ferrari enzo
automatic (you dont need manual)
racing line - off
stablility control - max
traction control - 1
anti lock braking - max
difficulty - expert (you dont get more points for legend)
turn auto braking off

track - homestead oval
1 lap
1 v 1

its quite easy to win stick to outside on first corner gradually turning the bend you will gain places upto 7th or 8th next corner the same but instead of braking just take finger off accelerate and back on when you know u wont touch the wall , after a few races you will get the hang of it and ul win every race , iv raced about 60 now and won 59

and thats 5,250 points every race

finish bonus 1st 4,500
lap lead bonus 1 lap 250
clean race bonus 250 (o penalties)
fastest lap bonus 250

total 5,250 (perfect score)

will get the million in no time

Are you forgetting the load time, because that's another 40 seconds?
If you got the PSN version, you can always use the cheat code to win the race instantly instead of having to drive it, halving the time.

Complete all Objectives in Stage 5 of Career mode.
Stage 5’s objectives are as follows:
Win an event under the ‘Pro’ difficulty class
Achieve a podium finish without the racing line
Qualify in 3rd or above before 3 events
Race with a new supercar
Win a race with a personal livery

So I raced more than 3 events in stage 5 before noticing this and didn't qualify in 3 or above and now ofcourse the trophy wont pop. Do I need to delete my save file and start over or should it unlock just by redoing the qualifying sessions on the first two races ?

I believe there is nothing miss-able, and the description is just a bit badly worded, even though it's perfectly correct.

What qualify in 3rd or above means:
Before the actual race begins with the other cars, you will in all events be racing one single lap alone. The better you do in this single lap compared to your opponents, the better position you will start out at in the actual race. So to qualify in 3rd or above you need to finish that qualification round with a good enough time for you to place 3rd or higher.

What the objective asks you to do:
Qualify in 3rd before 3 of the events, not qualify 3rd or above once before 1 event has passed, but qualify 3rd or above in 3 of the events.

Just go ahead and qualify 3rd or above in 3 of the events. No need to delete save or anything like that, just do as it says.

It is against the rules of this site and Sony's to share saves. You wouldn't be able to use it with your trophies anyways, unless your PS3 is running on some custom firmware.

9 Lives
Cause severe damage to a Supercar in Career mode without retiring.
This trophy is confusing. The trophy description says to cause severe damage to your car. Those of you who read the manual will see that severe damage is classed as 56%- 60%. The actual requirements of this trophy are to smash your car so it is on the brink of disqualification, which is between 80%-89%. So drive into all the barriers in sight to send your damage percentage to 80%-89% and finish to unlock this trophy. (Thanks to sktwentythree for this)

Crash Test Dummy
Completely demolish a Supercar in an offline race.
If you end up smashing your car too much while trying to get “9 Lives” and go over 89% then you will get disqualified. At which point you will unlock this one. Just smash your car to 90% and your car will be demolished enough for this trophy to pop.
