Platinum Difficulty Rating

i just got this platinum yesterday at, i think, exactly 3:33pm! i was so happy, i recorded the trophy popping up and posted it on youtube xD considering the following trophies...

HARD: Platinum, Entitled, Iconclast, All Clear, Long time no see, Rival Schooled, Speed Freak, Trial Athlete, C to Shining C.

i guess i'd give the difficulty a 10. definitely my hardest platinum to date out of my 5 games.

One of the hardest platinum to obtain in this world. I only have 25% of this game .Why they do these trophies so impossibly hard to get!?

You voted Street Fighter X Tekken a 10, and this game an 8, what planet are you living on?

This is a 9/10 by the way, exactly the same difficulty as vanilla. Anyone who says there's a marked difference in the difficulty or votes more than a point different between the two is a dumbass, just because you've gotten more skilled by playing one or the other first, doesn't mean the second is easier. I'm playing this with a broken D-pad which makes cancelling crouching normals into QC specials harder for some reason though so I dunno, maybe it's slightly easier. Still, to vote one a 10 and the other a 6 or 7 is just stupid .

I also really wish it wasn't the same repetitive music playing constantly during trial mode

Honestly even on hardest Seth isn't that hard. Once you figure out the proper spacing and how to abuse his AI it gets almost pathetically easy. Obviously the trials are another matter entirely though.

OT, I haven't actually gotten the plat yet but I've already completed all trials and this is getting a 10. I gave SF4 a 9.5 and personally I had more trouble with the trials in this game than in that one, in large part due to Sakura's and Dan's 23rd trials.

Actually the Input Engine in this one is a lot more evolved, making it easier to input commands and in turn easier trials than in regular! But it also makes possible newer trials and links you'd find impossible in the first game (ergo why there's a lot more trials per character, it's also by doing said trials that you become accustomed with the new mechanics)! So, it's a bit harder to get the hang of at first, but overall it should be easier than SFIV really!

At least it didn't take me 5 hours to finish Viper LVL5 (Lvl24 here), but I agree Sakura 23 is KILLER! Last trial I finished, still didn't take me as long as Viper 5 in regular, though :/

I only really found it time consuming. Maybe a handful of trials were hard. By the way, I plat'ed this game twice. The first time I played it, I wasn't trophy hunting. I wanted to see how fast I could plat it a second time. Two weeks was the second time. About 100 hours. Most of that was working on C2C and beating the game on hardest with every character. Did the majority of the trials with all characters in a weekend. Only 6 or 7 were really tough.

Oh and AE is a bastardization of the SF series. Good going Crapcom. I will never play another Crapcom game again for ripping off it's loyal consumers. AE should have been a free update.
