What to do and NOT to do for Shock and Awe...

If you've gotten obsessed with getting to 100% like me than you obviously know about the trick in endless where you can leave one enemy and collect bombs forever...... DONT DO IT!
I just spent about an hour collecting bombs until i had 206 of them.. no joke! I was really sick of this trophy.....

What do you know.. the developers are smarter than we thought.. The games difficulty still increases while you are flying around and collecting bombs!! sure you can grab maybe 10 extra bombs and not hurt your chances Too much, but once I continued the game after 206 I was bombarded by the fastest meteorites I have ever seen in the game... I had 4 lives and a shield and 206 bombs, I got down to around 70 bombs left before I saw even 2 more nukes... than died this was very obviously (and rather dishearteningly) NOT the way you could achieve this trophy...

I than picked up the sticks for another try directly after this marathon of a fail... Dennis Brown pumping like always (only game you can really listen to music in!!) And Guess What??

Is that in order to achieve the Shock and Awe trophy you simply need to use only Gold Melter, and spin it like a bat out of hell in 360 degrees constantly... I guarantee you will need to take breaks for your thumb in order to continuously spin as fast as possible, but if you do... you will beat this I promise you!!

I always do that, but those little red triangle sods always get through.

You can always set off a bomb when the red triangles come at you like the LAPD on Rodney King, or boost out of the way. Other than that, the 200% gold melter spinning thing works well in just about all areas of the game.

Hmm never though about spamming the gold melter before. I'll give that a try later.

Dude, the Gold Melter thing doesn't always work :/ Even with almost 200% constantly, and my thumb going in 360's faster than I could see, it didn't work :/

Also : Anyone ever notice you could put quick tags in by pressing ctrl & then the corresponding letter e.g ctrl + i for italics?

Yes, you can also highlight an area and then ctrl+b and it will bold all of it, just like in any text editor. :]

The major problem with Gold Melting Spamming is that sometimes it leaves you vulnerable to small collision objects seeing as you become visually impaired when you spam it and a lot of things explode around you. There's times when I'm spinning like mad, and things explode all around me, and suddenly I'm dead because a small particle hit me that escaped my vision.

And I never knew that lol, I always used to hand type bbcode :/

I didn't find out until I became admin at a different board, and I was browsing through the FAQ and found it out that way. I used to hand type the BBcode as well, so don't feel bad.
