Has anyone tried to do this

it works on the xbox, so was thinking it may potentially work on the PS3

"What you want to do is set up a game on Hard and lives to max. Play the game picking up everything and killing everyone (Refer to achievement guide for boss tips Etc.)

Now, when you get close to 800,000, lets say around 795,000, save your game, back out and start a game up on hardcore. Play it for 30 seconds back out, start up your saved game and then just get the extra 5,000 points and the achievement unlocks."

If it works it would make the trophy very easy to obtain, gonna try it later when I have more free time, unless some one beats me to it

my friend did just that on 360 version and it must have worked, no way on earth he would have did it without, cuz he's crappy at gaming.
Can't even win 5 in a row on bomberman.
So I would assume it works for ps3 version, I was going to try it later today anyway.

I can't confirm this method, although as the poster above says I imagine it would work.

Saying that I played it on hardest for the 800k trophy earlier and didn't have any issues as you can save at any point and then reload if need be.

lol I came so close to doing this the other night. Only I died at 750,000 points.

I'm going to try it now and see if it works or not.

yea im wondering if this works also i suck at this when i get to the later lvls, i have watch a guy on you tube who sets it to max lives and hardest setting and just before the 800k does the whole start new game and quit then reloads etc but a couple of posts i have read like one on here people are saying you can set it to hard and max lives?? so can this be done on any settings like medium or just hard and hardest?

I have some bad news.

The glitch does not work.

I got all the way upto stage 8 and made a save at around 795,000.

Quit the game and started a hardcore game.

Played for around 30 seconds (I waited until the ingame timer said 69).

Quit that game.

Loaded my hard save.

Killed Bear jr and the robot guardian which took me well over 800k.

Nothing happened.

Unless I'm doing something wrong it looks very much like we're going to have to do this one the hard way.

thts why i asked im not sure if hard works i thing you have to play it on hardest WITH max lives, then just b4 800k start up a new hard core game,play 30secs or so then quit and load previous...it think you cant choose hard

Tried it out before. Did exactly the same thing as in that video. Nothing happened...

It doesn't work.

I tried the jet glitch with a fresh PSN account and nothing happens.

The glitch is most likely doesn't work due to the differences between the PS3 and the 360 when it comes to loading saved games.

I'm not trying to be a dick but i have a question to ask if that cheat were to have worked-getting a trophy by anything other than the requirements isnt gaining the trophy lol-what is the point of it being in your collection if you know you didn't have the correct skill to earn it?Is it just to show your friends or what?Or you just like how 100 percent looks.
I'm not tripping on anyone im just wondering.
