What tv do you play on?

I have a 23 inch monitor and have my ps3 hooked up to it via HDMI. I have seen while lurking in the shoryuken forums that hdtv slows down your input timing to show up on the screen.

Do any of you play on a CRT? if so is it true that its easier to do the challenges and your inputs are faster?

Would my inputs lag less if i hook my ps3 up with the VGA cables?
