Well... For Survival Hard 1, I got 51 wins. lol... I know it's not much of a difference compared to 52, but just letting you know haha. I wasn't ballsy enough to stop at 40. I didn't want to do this trial over again if I didn't get a gold. =/

I stopped at 50 wins and got gold on survival hard 1.

Stopped at 40 on hard survival 1 and got gold.

I still need gold on hard survival 2-4. Going to finish survival normal, and when I come back to hard I'll try them all stopping at 40.

Aside from survival 19 does everyone more or less use zangief? I doubt im good enough with any other character to get any golds.

Also, I can confirm that you need no more than 40 wins for all 5 survival hard challenges. I stopped at exactly 40 on all 5 and got gold.

FinalFury: I used Gen for the first 5 or so time attacks until I found out how powerful lariats were against AI. I switched to Gief then and used him for all of them except survival 19 and time attack 14. I used Sagat for those but anyone you are good with will work for those two.

For survival the gief is the best.

But for time trial, I'm finding it very easy to just use sagat and spam focus attack into dash cancel to tiger knee / uppercut and repeat.
