Start The Party! Platinum difficulty- ???

Just got done with chain king. Popping those bubble fish was really fun due to the fact that I can play the damn thing anytime I want. Now, onto the final trophy..

Swashbuckler!

Try #XXX- I've tried getting the 40 fruits sliced a number of times before my actual factual runs, but just like now, I failed them then. Probably worse than I am now.
Try #1- Felt like I was close or even surpassed the required number of sliced fruit, but it just didn't happen
Try #2- Not as good as the first. I knew I wasn't even close.. urgh..
Try #3- Not even close. I did worse than my previous attempts..
Try #4- This one caught me off guard! So much so that by the time I was done with it I threw the PSmove control at the floor in a rage. A piece broke off.. my woman got mad.
Try #5- The pattern was broken and the game caught me at the sword mini-game with only 2 players. I tried my best and felt like I was really close. Got almost both bars on both players close to the top. I hate this game already. The pattern I was getting familiar with was ICE CREAM/PIZZA/NET/ICE CREAM/FRUIT SLICE
Try #6- Holy shit I think I figured something out.. or maybe I just got REALLY LUCKY!? I got the fruit slice game 2 times in a row, just 15 minutes after my previous attempt. I exited out and to the XMB screen and restarted the game and got it again. Trying it again but this time with 4 players to further damage my arm. BRB!

THIS JUST IN! NO.. I got really lucky there with the 2 fruit slicing games in a row. Damn this game to Cybertron hell..

The fish popping challenge was a God-send compared to this sword swinging bullshit. Atleast that one can be played continously thus allowing you to get "better" with every try without pause.. 2 hour pauses for that matter. I got Chain King on my 6th try, 10 minutes of playing, tops. 10 minutes of learning, a little realization and then mastering. Afterwards I'm sitting there thinking, "what are all these people talking about?" Sure it was challenging, but not hard.. well, as hard as people have made it seem to be. It's not! Sit your ass there and keep playing and get better and that's it. It's a blessing that they've allowed us to even play this one continously. Swashbuckler.. damn shame.

How disappointing for me. I'm taking a long break from this game, in fact, I might never get the platinum at all because I haven't experienced this kind of frustration with a game in a very long time. It's been 11 years since I've thrown something across the room and broken it so I'm not about to bring that bullshit back. Congratulations to all my fellow PS3trophies.org platinum players who achieved excellence in getting this horrible and frustrating trophy.

Okay. Only two more Trophies and the Platinum is mine and then I surely can say "I love to Party!"

The Trophies I have left are:
Life and Soul of the... (Play 10 games of Party Mode)
Supermassive Party (Take 100 different player portrait photos)

I will get those in like 30 minutes MAX!

This was easier Platinum than I thought it would be... It didn't take that much time from me to Platinum this and I got the trickiest Trophies (like Swashbuckler) on my first or second try! So this was a very pleasant experience for me as I also like this game, it's real fun

Ah, almost forgot to write here! I got the Trophy "I love to Party!".

So now I can officially rate this Platinum's difficulty. For me, it was a 2... I didn't have tough time with any of these Trophies... I was kinda surprised about this after reading this forum and checking the guide Reason why it wasn't 1 was that it still had some challenge.

But overall I think it deserves a 4. I might of been lucky or just really talented (I'll vote the first one...) and a few of these Trophies can be a real pain in the donkey...

Gave it a 3. The trophy that gave me the most difficulty was Brilliant Bouncer which took 6 attempts. I can imagine that Swashbuckler could be incredibly frustrating if you don't get it quickly, as it takes about 20 minutes just to get to the three strikes round.
Took about 8 hours, of which about 3 were spent browsing the net whilst occasionally pressing the move button or starting another party game going.

I voted a 5 for this platinum.
I majority of trophies are very easy, and I got the Chain King on my third try.
Swashbuckler on the other hand was a nightmare, just played a marathon session of 8 hours to finally get that. I followed the instructions of being close to the camera holding the sword parallel to the floor and chopping like crazy. but only got it when I changed the difficulty from easy to normal which seemed to send a lot more fruit flying at the screen.

Voted a 5. The chain king trophy is rather difficult, but practice makes perfect. The swashbuckler trophy is getting on my nerves though. Even with the move close to the camera trick i haven't been able to get it so far, but it's only a matter of time before i do and then i have my platinum!

This game would not be so hard if you could manually choose the games you want to play in Party Mode. It so frustrating having to wait for the game you need pop-up-

This games for "kids" are the hardest to platinum.
Sorry but for me it was a 7. mostly because it takes a LOT of time and patiente to get the game you need in the 3-strike rounds.
I spent almost 14 hours to get 1 trophy. the game rarely pop-up and when it did, I had to try many times to get the trophy.

3, but I think I was really lucky.

Chain King was the hardest trophy for me. Maybe my Move isn't calibrated well, seemed like I would miss a lot. But when I focused on the lower middle section of the screen things went well. Took about a dozen tries.

Swashbuckler came up in my 4th Party Game and I got it with the 3rd player. Used the close-to-the-camera trick. Probably got lucky though - 4th player also got it (or extremely close) but when this game came up in a later Party Game I only got close (of course, I wasn't as motivated either).

Brilliant Bouncer came up in my 5th Party Game and I got it with the 4th player - not sure how, I thought I was dying. Luck.

Candy Crazy came up in my 6th Party Game and I got it with the first player. Successive attempts suggest it's not hard.

Eagle Eye was the second hardest trophy for me, believe it or not. I know, I know. Took me a good number of attempts, thought I should have had it several times but no. Guess I just wasn't fast enough.
