I love the game, i have forever longed for a Online shooter where you can build your own base/fort. And now we have this. Build walls, gates, add turrets, beam turret's. etc. As you know you can build everything that helps you out in battle. In your spawn or on the battlefield, allowing you to basically build your very own base spawn. Say few walls around, supply deport, Hawkpad and a pod beacon. I just love it.
Also how you can use the hawk's and transform into a mech for gound combat. It concentrates on ground combat alot more than flight combat, which I think is the main outlook. Obviously fighting in the air is still fantastic, but im pleased its more of a secondry outcome over warhawk. I loved warhawk and played it quite abit. I think that Starhawk has taken everything good from its predecessor and made it that bit more enjoyable. Can't wait to see the final product!!

i enjoyed the environments most.
very well done and nice looking. however, at the moment, i don't like space map. littered with snipers, be warned starhawks! if you wanna snipe, okie dokie. i also like how the hawks were easy to use and very effective. however, just use the flying hawks for transport more than combat. the mech is good for combat. however, the armor on those things is pretty sad lol. 3 guys can blow me up instantly after landing using assault rifles. ridiculous. so, overall, yes its a learning experience and don't try space map cause its sniper alley imo. i don't use snipers, i like assault rifles. which to me also needs more power. i'll just keep blathering on, so i'll just leave this post how it is.

The game is centered around the flight aspect. You have to get comfortable in the air - know how to get kills from in the air and be comfortable in the hawk. I hear a lot of people say it's fine to just be on the ground. I think you're wrong and I think you greatly limit your experience by not learning how to use the hawks the way they're meant to be used; killing folks.

The team aspect helps out too, since a successful team will not usually have all of its players in the air. The game allows you to specialize and help out your team in many different ways. I do recommend eventually learning to fly, but you can still have tons of fun without ever setting foot in a hawk. If you do want to improve your flying, I recommend learning to evade first. Don't focus on kills to begin with. Learn to airbrake, use your boost and flares, and switch to mech mode mid-flight (then switch right back). Try to stay alive as long as possible. I also recommend the pro flight controls even for beginners. Just learn to use the right stick to correct the roll (try to keep the ground beneath and the sky above as much as possible). Also learn the locations of the hawk healthpacks on each map and don't be shy about going for them. Practice makes better. You will never get perfect.

but the space map feels so wrong for me lol. its like a labrynth with snipers everywhere and great for spawn trapping? hmm..... but there's chances for patches for the worst things to be fixed, i guess.
