My advice before you start this game!!!
I just got the plat without cheating.
And that is what I'd suggest everybody to do.The hard part of the game is your 1st playthrough, but not because of the difficulty-setting, but because you really gotta learn how to fight effectively. Once you got that, only the bosses remain as FREAKING hard and downright unfair (1990ish-boss-design...-_-). PLAY IT THIS WAY: 1st run: Sith Lord difficulty (available from the beginning). don't think about trophies, just play through the game. Use youtube if necessary for boss help .2nd run: Sith Master difficulty. No fear, except for the bosses, this will be a walk in the park, as you're a good player/Jedi by now. Sounds funny, but trust me, this makes the difference! COLLECT ALL HOLOCRONS on this run using the very good youtube guide from the trophy guide. The holocrons are needed for a powerful character, but as you need to collect them anyway for that holocron-trophy...why not now??? ![]() I finished my Sith Master run in 2/3 of the time I needed for Sith Lord, and it was WAY more fun. This is what the game was intended to be played like, with you knowing your forces by then and using them to kick ass BIG TIME. My advice: Don't use cheats, as they'll give you only one fucking hard playthrough, but you'll never get into really enjoying the game. |

Sounds good, but not for me. I tried Sith Master without cheats, and I died like 23423423 times in the first tie fighter hangar. But thats okay, the this is the hardest difficulty. I managed to fight my way to the second boss. I died like 345345435 times again, and I could not kill him at all. Like I am on 100% health, he gives a force push, and I am on 10%, another hit, dead.
But I saw your post about Sith Lord. Tried that now. In this difficulty, no one could touch me at all, I died like 3 times because of falls, and I could kill that boss in the second level at first try. So Sith Lord is like easy, and Sith Master is like super-hard. Thanks for reading.

But as I said, the problem for me wasn't the Sith Master difficulty itself, but learning how to fight/use the force effectively. I'd say you should definitely go for it, you'll get your plat! Dedication and patience... ![]() But why not play it twice instead of worrying so much??? Last edited by Granuel_d_Gringa; 05-09-2011 at 11:42 PM. |

i just reached level 7 on sith master and without cheats in my playtrough. the second boss was a bit tricky but force lightning did the trick, and there are some hard parts, but overall i think i managed the game good so far. however, first part of level 9 was hard on sith lord, i wonder how will be on sith master
