Platinum Difficulty Rating

Im voting a 7. Just got the plat, there wasnt anything too hard at all, but its very time comsuming, and you have to keep track of what you are doing.

That said, its great fun

I'm going with a 6. While most of the trophies are insanely easy, getting all of the badges will require a bit more skill than the average player has. I guess for Veterans this could be a 4 and for newbies this would be an 8. I'll go with 6, as an average.

Well I gave it a 5 only the gold on every peak was abit frustrating, and I guess I was one of the lucky ones to get the 50 000 Bandwagon badge.

I was also one of the lucky few that recieved the Bandwagon Badge, I have now gotten the Plat. I voted a 7 due to the fact that the Bandwagon might not be obtainable for much longer and also the Gold medal on every run in 1 range was quite frustrating. Other than that the Plat was a piece of cake, but still I think 7.

I gave it a 7. Most trophies are easy, but some are very hard and took me hours and days. And the badges are extremely time consuming! And you almost have to be lucky to get the Bandwagon badge.

As a long time SSX fan, I can say this is the hardest game in the series. There are many easy trophies that you will get simply by playing (a lot!). However, there are a few hard trophies. You have to do every deadly descent from the World Tour without a rewind, and you'll have to do most of them without any survival gear.

Anyone with enough dedication will be able to platinum this game, but if you rage quit easily, stay away from it. Sometimes, you'll have to start the same race 10 times in a row because you fall in random bottomless pits you did not see. It can be very frustrating.

I wish the dev created trophies for getting the 599 snowflakes or getting all gold on Explore...

It probably was a 40-50 hours platinum for me, but did not focus on any trophies exept for the last few hours. I give the game a 7.

I gave it a 4, though I did boost for a few trophies. That being said, the trophies I boosted could easily of been obtained if I invested the time.

None of the trophies are difficult to pop if you're willing to restart your run a few times until you find the best line.

Gekodeko's PS3T trophy guide was a huge help with the deadly runs.

Its a shame the platinum might become unobtainable due to the 50k players badge because other than that its a fun and easy plat, round about 40hrs of enjoyable gaming along the way.

Not only does it require practice to actually gain the skills good enough to post the needed scores and ride times it also requires a lot of patience for gathering all the badges. I won't even start about that one infamous badge,...

I would rate the difficult rating a 6. I have had a lot of fun getting the plat to this game with a fair amount of time put in. I dont even think it is possible to get the bandwagon medal anymore tho :S
