In case anyone wonders..

I had to actually race after 50k to get the badge. All the alts I used were the same deal. No badge when I signed in to the game but as soon as I dropped off the copter, it popped up.

I had raced when it was like 49.9k and nada. Had to race after 50k, so get in there and re race!

!!! Possible bug !!!

I got the badge, shut down the PS3, started ssx a bit later and the badge was gone, none of the badges I got after it disappeared, only that one....
Joined the event again and I got the badge once again... hope I keep it this time...

Yep, this exact same thing has happened to me!!!

I'm not quite a Platinum level yet so best get there before the event expires just in case it stays glitched!!!
