I have successfully parried a superstrike attempt against every opponent TWICE in the Silver cup and no trophy popped. Has anyone else gotten this trophy yet?
The guide by fatality mentions the words super parry in his description when doing it, but it just says parry when I do. The opponents sword is always glowing and as I said, I've went through all the characters twice. First time using Titan then I used the basketball guy for the longer reach. |

NVM, I got it!
Apparently missed the big rugby dude. However, doing it with one controller was much easier. Fatality's guide for it is very good. Do bronze except for the 1st 2 then silver for them. Although I did 9 of them on silver. No sense killing yourself over this like I did. |

I do hate that....but as the above post kind of points out, not really the same. I didn't notice anything I missed. There is no way to check to see who you did and didn't get. I just lucked out by getting it on Connor for the third time.
Also, the trophy popped while I was stilll in the match right after I parried. So, if you are on your last guy and you do it the trophy should pop right away. |

No it doesn't unfortunately. There is no way of knowing wether you got credit for a super parry. It took me 2.5 run throughs of all the characters to finally get it. The one I was missing was the rugby dude. A good tip is to just hold your sword horizontal when they go super and move it to where he is trying to strike. You can do all of them on bronze except for the first two since they never go super.
Also, try not to parry if they aren't in super mode. This way you should know you got it on the stat screen when the fight is over if you mentally keep track of all your parries. Last edited by Docbooch; 10-19-2010 at 03:35 PM. |

I agree with Docbooch.. playing with one controller is simpler. only PARRY appears when successful. No way to double-check in the stats! so be sure opponents sword is lit-up when you parry before winning the match and moving to the next opponent. No glitch for me.
