Why go to the Lakers if he wants to win a ring, we just crushed your ass with Dwight not on his game .11-4 one of the best records in the league right now so I doubt any trade will happen mid-season unless we get something spectacular. Anderson is looking better, Reddick is shooting great and Nelson is finally back to form. I like our chances this year

It doesn't have to be the Lakers, you know. I've said this before, and Im gonna say it again : The Mavs have the biggest chance of acquiring Dwight and Deron And I think Otis SHOuLD gamble on Dwight. After the season, they can just look for a possible sign and trade, and if Howard leaves, he'll end up taking a 30m paycut. And Yes, the Lakers are pathethic right now. Our offense is crap. Why the f*** is Pau waiting on the 3-point line? Why are we always doing lots and lots of jumpshots? Why do I, nowadays, want Kobe to dominate the ball instead of passing to the bigs? And why is our team, who BOAST defense, can't defend at all? And why the F**k is MWP (Mitch Wave Please) and Fisher stil playing? Besides, I don't want Dwight. The Lakers will gut their team to get Dwight. What Lakers need is a point guard. Bynum, even if he was embarassed by Howard, is still the second best center in the league. It's not like Howard has always dominated him every game. There were games in the previous seasons where Bynum shuts Howard down. Last edited by alec613; 01-23-2012 at 02:46 AM. |

On Lakers offense, the culprit is pretty obvious. They have no wing players. Kobe, Gasol, and Bynum and not a single decent wing player to help them out. On D, they're not bad at all considering the short training camp. Their D is definitely better than average I think. Definitely not good enough to hold a speedy team like Miami in a 7 game series but good enough to make it past the 2nd round playoffs I think. I like the Howard trade even if it means losing Bynum and Gasol. The fact is Kobe is getting old and Griffin and Co are only getting better. Lakers need to quickly find the heir to Kobe and thats Dwight. The one guy that can not only ensure that the Lakers are the LA Team but also win games by himself. Yes, short term to win a championship with Kobe is to get a PG(any PG really lol) and a wing player. But long term, Howard is worth losing Bynum(injuries and questionable maturity) and a accomplished player like Gasol. And why is Artest getting minutes? Good question..... Maybe coach thinks Artest will realize how bad is play is and get motivated to get better? Don't know. |

Flip Saunders is out as Wizards coach. I'm not that surprised it happened. That team needs a coach will hold those young players in check as they are talented, but dont know how to play as a team.

Really, is there a coach that can get anything out of this current Wizards team? I think not. And while we're talking about the Wizards firing Flip, why does Grunfeld still have a job as GM? |

Even if it is a rookie who's not playing like a rookie. What a monster 4th quarter by Bosh against the Cavs though - 17 points, giving him 35 total.
