ok one quick ? i was playing the level where you have to trail sal and i got to the part where you have to put a stick cam on a wall and a gaurd saw me and the mission was pretty much over and out of nowhere this dog shows up and kills me but no life bar or anything could be seen anyone know if that counts as a death?

it did count as a death make sure you kill the dog cause if your spotted the dog will kill you i guess it doesnt matter if the mission failed comes up or not
if you fall to the ground your chances of getting sam are done

got all but 2 trophies first play through which were vet and sam

Fuck my life I just compromised my chances of getting this trophy and the last save I had was uploaded to the cloud on level 2. I didn't even see my health bar go down on the last mission. This no death trophy is total bullshit at least you had leeway in the other games. I am just gonna power through this game and get this trophy out of the way and then focus on everything else.

Damn this trophy is so annoying... Ubisoft doesn't even care about the glitches.. Fucking Splinter Shit: Glitch Collection.

Anyway, I'm not that mad as I sound, I just use strong words.

I don't have PSN+ member because it's totally a waste of money for me. So I can't copy saves to USB or put it in to the cloud or whatever that is. I've had 2 attempts for this trophy now. I have died on Mission 2 (flames) and Jerusalem mission down the severs because didn't remember there was 3 enemies after elevator and I was busy eating lol.

This glitch has totally turned me off for the whole collection lol. I'm not even curious for the 3rd game, Glitch Theory, because you know...

On the other hand, I'll have always GTAs and Metal Gear series. I'll probably play the new HITMAN story through and not even fart to the same direction where my Glitch Collection lays and gets dusty.

Tried this method today. My 1st death was at the 2nd last mission end where you need to grab sadonov... but he 1-shot killed me.... quit main menu and then loaded hard save 1 and continued playing... just finished the game and only "Mission Complete" trophy popped...

Oh, and 2nd and last death was just in the end of LAX, 3 terros killed me, then I followed the same routine. Still no trophy...

If I only knew who idiots ported this game to PS3 I'd go to one of their's home now and force him to play that Samaritan trophy for me, same time pointing beretta 9mm to his head.. Fucking glitch collection.

Altough I have "Save_2" which is saved just after I completed escorting Ingrid. After I saved that, I saved "Save_1" also, then I got spotted during playing that Save_1 and hard loaded the Save_1 then I played and the mofo killed me....

So maybe Save_2 isn't glitched?????

I think I torture myself more and play it through on Save_2. I'll post here if it works..

Or maybe not! At the very start of LAX mission, I touched the fucking truck from behind and it was still moving to the opposite direction from where I was coming from, like 0.1mp/h, and I died because I touched the truck..... ffffuuuuuu.... I feed this Splinter Shit Glitch Collection Disc to the dog next door...

I died in the same spot in Jerusalem... was in a lift and forgot about those guards down there... got killed (3am) throw my pad on the floor and shouted as hard i could - fuck off you fucking count, guy who lives upstairs ask me later on that day why i was fighting with my gf at 3 am, lol.... funny but not funny... need to start game again.

Fuck I hate this trophy... And why the hell the devs decided to give unfinished product. And that pathetic patch they made, LOL, that must be just them saying everybody, "haahaaa, enjoy the glitches!"

Well i'm not sure if it is the same team making those patches... Original team moved to Toronto and they are focused on Blacklist. Don't think they are still interested in 'Trilogy' but they should in my opinion, those three games are/were without glitches just epic.

This trophy is fine, it's just difficult to get. I got it along with my platinum just a few minutes ago. I used the cloud save method and any time I died (a handful of times) I reloaded from the cloud.

I can even confirm that most "close calls" should still count in your favor when you're doing quickloading. By that I mean, any time you get spotted and enemies start shooting at you, you try to quickload a save to redo it. Well sometimes, and this was something warned about in the trophy guide for the first Splinter Cell game, it seems like you might still get shot at a little while it's doing the quickload. I had 1-2 times where my health was dangerously low and I was in the process of being shot when I quickloaded. This never messed me up in getting the trophy.

So there's nothing glitched about it from what I can see. You just need to be patient and determined. I had to redo the cryogenics level and the TV station level probably 9 times combined.

- Agree, only solution is to be focused and patient.. i got Platinum few weeks ago. After playing this game so many times, honestly only the TV station (sort of) was a pain, and even this wasn't that bad.
