Much thanks to Savenger for the incredible header! Overview: -Estimated trophy difficulty: 5/10 -Offline: 43 (1 , 4 , 7 , 31 )-Approximate time to Platinum: Approximately 25 hours -Minimum number of playthroughs: In theory, just 1 (realistically, 2 or 3) -Number of missable trophies: None. There is a level select menu -Glitched trophies: None -Do cheat codes disable trophies: N/A -Does difficulty affect trophies: Yes, you must beat the game and obtain all platinum medals on Hard difficulty Introduction Theoretically, you could obtain the Platinum in just one playthrough. If you do, then consider yourself a video game god because this roadmap will assume at least three. At first this task may seem a bit challenging, but the game will seem easier as you go along due to the character and combat upgrades. Best of all, this is most likely the best superhero game we’ve had the pleasure of playing since Arkham Asylum. So trust me, you won’t really mind the multiple playthroughs. Step 1: Hard Playthrough with Spider Emblem Platinum Medals From the very beginning until stated later on, ONLY play on the Hard difficulty. Not only is this the most efficient method, but it will prevent any sort of confusion relating to the platinum medals which MUST all be obtained on Hard. Before you start, make sure to refer to the data found within the trophy guide’s description of Spectacular!!!. It details the minimum number of Emblems which must be collected in each level in order to receive the Spider Emblem platinum medals. Although the majority are more or less out in the open, make sure to use your Spider-Sense (by pressing ) as you progress through each level in order to highlight their locations. Otherwise, simply take your time and enjoy the game!Upon completing your first playthrough, all of the hidden, “End of Act” and the three stacked difficulty trophies will unlock. You will also more than likely unlock all of the trophies pertaining to defeating enemies and collecting Spider Emblems. Step 2: Second Hard Playthrough with Combo and Time Platinum Medals The goal of this second playthrough on Hard will be to obtain each level’s Combo and Time platinum medals - all the power to you if you’ve already gotten some of them on your first playthrough! Once again refer to the trophy guide’s description of Spectacular!!! for each level’s requirements. For the Combo platinum medals, the name of the game is quality and not quantity. So if you make sure to often use the most expensive combo upgrades, then you will easily obtain the necessary 19k combo score per level. As for the Time platinum medals, just make sure to move swiftly across each of the levels by moving past areas where defeating all of the enemies is not required. At the end of this playthrough, you will have unlocked Amazing!, Sensational!! and Spectacular!!!. Step 3: Replaying certain levels on Easy with Challenges Now you can finally play the rest of the game on the Easy difficulty! By this point you will have already unlocked the vast majority of the 180 challenges. Refer to the Web of Destiny to see which you are missing and replay those levels in order to achieve them. Having completed two Hard difficulty playthroughs, the game will now seem like a cakewalk on Easy. Refer to the trophy guide’s description of Bug Collector in order to see the locations of the Hidden Spiders since they sometimes may be hard to spot even with your Spider-Sense activated. Note that you do not have to complete the level - feel free to exit out once all of the challenges are done. Once the 180 challenges are complete, you will have unlocked Manifest Destiny and Bug Collector. A hefty total of Spider Essence will have been accumulated by this point, so you will also have the necessary funds to purchase all of the remaining character and combat upgrades. This will unlock The Complete Package and Smooth Moves. Step 4: Miscellaneous Cleanup on Easy If you are missing any remaining trophies such as The Spider’s Shadow, The Spider’s Bite, The Spider’s Grace, The Spider’s Web, Missed Me! or No Harm Done, just replay a corresponding level on the Easy difficulty and you will be all done! Congratulations webcrawler! The is now yours! Stan Lee would be proud!
