Road Map

Step 1: Complete the game.

Pretty simple, just beat the game on whatever difficulty you choose. I'd suggest to get the feel of the game with hard considering a bunch of trophies are needed to be done on the hardest difficulty. You will get the trophies regarding the difficulty through this, also the hidden story-related trophies as well, and most likely the killing enemies trophies.

Remember to diversify your combos. Just do the levels in this part and don't worry about the other trophies, those can be accomplished later once you've beaten the game.

Step 2: Clean Up.

This is the biggest portion of the game and you will probably be spending a lot of time on this part. In this section, you will be replaying levels at least 2 times to get the platinum medals for the three categories: Combo rating, Spider Emblems, and Quickest Time for the Spectacular!!! trophy which is further down.

The other various trophies you'll be doing are Manifest Destiny by completing all 180 challenges, the two combo trophies, the upgrade trophies, most of which will be accomplished by replaying the levels over again with what you were doing in Spectacular!!! For instance, the emblems trophy will be accomplished by you just replaying the levels and going for the platinum medal in each level for the emblems. Essentially all the trophies you didn't get by just playing each level once can be done here.

Just play through the tutorial to get this. It will be the first level that you play with Madam Web directing you.


Survival of the fittest
Defeat Kraven on any difficulty level

This will be in the Amazing dimension. Essentially you'll have to fight him two times. Once will be in a caged area, so you just want to lock on by pressing and strafe around, waiting for him to charge at you. When he charges you, press :x: and roll away. He'll sit there for a few seconds so you can pound away at him. Occasionally he'll jump up to the things overhead so spikes can come up. Just zipline to him with and knock him off. Continue this until it's over with. The second fight is exactly the same but he'll have a different move and can also teleport. His new move will charge up and he will charge at you. You gave to dodge him when he does this. Other than that, nothing is new about how to beat him.

The hammer falls
Defeat Hammerhead on any difficulty level

This will be in the Noir dimension. The first time you come to Hammerhead, he'll be on a gattling gun. To attack him, stay behind the walls and out of the spotlight. Get behind him and you'll be prompted by a and you'll take a third of his health. Continue to do this 2 more times and he'll be beaten. The last time, you'll be in a room with him with 3 machines pumping out smoke. Throw a barrel or box at him with and then again, then he'll start shooting fiery things at you. Make him shoot one of the machines. When he has shot it, press right away and zipline above. He'll be somewhere in the smoke and you need to get behind him to press . Continue to do this 2 more times, and then he'll be almost dead. Stay on the ground for the last bit and continue to dodge him until he runs into a wall. Once he runs into a wall, beat him until there's no more health and then you'll do first person fighting. You'll be finished with him once you get there.

Clipped wings
Defeat Hobgoblin on any difficulty level

This will be in the 2099 dimension. Essentially each time you fight Hobgoblin, a total of 3 times, you'll want to wait until he starts throwing pumpkin bombs at you and grab them with and throw them back at him. When he falls to the ground, be sure to beat him up as much as possible. The only time that really changes is the last fight where he takes the tablet. Essentially you want to fight off his gargoyles with and staying in the air until they're all done. Once they're done, you'll want to watch for pumpkin bomb throws (and throw them back), his strafing runs which are for shooting massive amounts of missiles, or him to charge up and fly to the ground. When he charges and flies to the ground, just jump the shockwaves that are made and beat him up. You'll have to continue to do this over and over again until he's done.

Now there's a shock
Defeat Electro on any difficulty level

This will be in the Ultimate dimension. You will fight Electro 3 different times. The first time will be in a large room with generators. He'll be in the middle at first, but don't attack when he has a shield. Once his shield is down, attack as much as possible and then get off of the middle platform and zipline to one of the generators. He'll start making the middle platform electrified, but just zipline to him to knock him off. Once that is done, he'll go back to the middle and do a beam of electricity for you to jump over until his shield is gone. Then continue to repeat what you've just done. The second time you fight him will be outdoors in an area full of generators. You'll want to dodge his ground electrification, which when he's done his shield will shut off and you can attack. Every once in a while he'll try to heal himself and pop out some minions. Be sure to web sling to him with so you can stop him, and then proceed to kill the minions if you wish. Continue this until he's done. The third time he'll be huge. He'll start with beams but just jump over them and then go to his hand that's on the ground and press . He'll do this another time with his other hand. Then he'll turn around looking for more energy. Be sure to zipline to one of the pieces of debris flying away so you can get back in front of him. When you're there, just dodge his fists hitting the ground. Back and forth. He'll then spawn enemies which you need to kill. He'll continue to do this until the majority of the dam is spilling water. He'll then get too close and you should press to finish the boss.

End of Act 1
Complete Act 1 on any difficulty level

Just beat Kraven (Amazing), Hammerhead (Noir), Hobgoblin (2099), and Electro (Ultimate), and you'll get this.


Here's mud in your eye!
Defeat Sandman on any difficulty level

This will be in the Amazing dimension. The first time you fight him, you'll need to throw buckets of water on him to make him muddy. Once he's muddy, just pound away on him until you defeat him. The second time he'll be huge and you'll need to make him hit wagons full of water so his hand becomes muddy. Punch his hands until he starts shooting you with sand balls, which will prompt water barrels to come out. Grab the barrels with :circle and then throw them with so it hits his face. His face will come to the ground all muddy-like which you can proceed with beating. He'll be defeated soon after. The third time, you'll be inside the tornado and he'll have 3 faces. You'll need to stay on the debris and throw the water barrels that are flying around into one of his faces. Some faces won't be affected by it so you need to throw as much as possible. When you see a face go muddy, just continue to beat it with your fists and legs. Continue to do this and you'll be done.

The caged bird squawks
Defeat Vulture on any difficulty level

This will be in the Noir dimension. You'll only come in contact with Vulture twice. The first time he'll be able to be hit by fists and kicks, until he runs into a dark area. Hit him with the spotlight. He'll continue to do this until he is defeated. This bit is not too difficult. The second time, he'll have gained extra powers. He'll be able to teleport and can now throw molotov cocktails. Keep held down so you know where he is. When he's not teleporting, continue to pelt him with web shots , so he drops molotov cocktails. Once he's dropped enough he'll go to the dark area and you'll need to shine one of the lights on him, he'll teleport away and you must follow him and punch/kick him. He'll continue to do this. He'll also try to teleport-charge you. When he does, just dodge and punch/kick him. Don't worry when he starts throwing knives, it isn't hard to handle. Just continue this effort and you'll defeat him.

Took the sting out of him
Defeat Scorpion on any difficulty level

This will be in the 2099 dimension. There are a total of 2 times you must fight Scorpion. The first time, he'll charge you, so hold this entire time and keep dodging him. Keep holding and wait for him to swing a few times. Once you get the spidey-sense above your head, be sure to dodge quickly. Then his tail will get stuck, so you can pound on him. Sooner or later he'll jump up to the roof. Throw the eggs that he spawns at him so he'll fall off, then run to him and press . He'll run to a different spot on the map, so you must follow him. Remember to do what I've written to defeat him this first time. The second fight will be in his "home". You'll be fighting a bunch of his minions as well as him, so keep an eye on him if you can. He'll charge at you and get stuck in the ground, which is when it's time to beat him. He'll gas the lower area so continue to fight on the top ledge. Once he gets beaten enough, he'll jump and hold onto the thing in the middle. Throw one of the eggs that he'll spawn at him. Be on the lookout for a large green circle under you, as that means he's going to charge. Dodge out of the way so you can continue to attack him while he's stuck. Rinse and repeat!

Canceled!
Defeat Deadpool on any difficulty level

This will be in the Ultimate dimension. There are a total of two fights against Deadpool. The first time you'll be on a new platform fighting him. Regularly dodge him with and . Then when you see an opening, just beat him silly. You're going to have to fight his fanboys, but that's fine because they're easy enough to beat. The harder part is when you have to fight 2 huge goons. The second fight there will be 3 different Deadpools. One will have only guns, one will have only swords, and the last will have only grenades. I'd suggest going after the grenade guy first (unless you're doing the challenge) mainly because he is the one that causes the most damage with his weapon. Guns next because the the sword guy doesn't do much and then finally sword (unless you're doing the challenge, in which case it's 1 - guns, 2 - swords, 3 - grenades). He's pretty simple. Just wait for him to not attack and then attack him yourself. Really simple boss.

End of Act 2
Complete Act 2 on any difficulty level

Just beat Sandman (Amazing), Vulture (Noir), Scorpion (2099), and Deadpool (Ultimate).


Something CAN stop Juggernaut!
Defeat Juggernaut on any difficulty level

This will be in the Amazing dimension. The first fight will start right away, just dodge and hit him as much as possible. When he jumps for you, dodge and then fight him as he's sitting on the ground. You will be prompted by , so use it and he'll lose a good bit of his health. He'll start throwing huge objects at you, but be sure to dodge and keep up with the beating. During the second fight, be sure to hit him whenever he tries to attack. Since he's really slow, he'll usually try and punch you or stomp you. Dodge around him and start beating him senseless for a few seconds. Don't do it for too long or you'll be hit. He'll also start jumping really high and landing, sending out rubble all around. What I did was just jump and hold until you're past that point. He'll also start pounding the ground, I'd suggest not getting near him whenever he does this because you'll be hurt if you get close.

Freak Show
Defeat Goblin on any difficulty level

This will be in the Noir dimension. You only fight Goblin once, though he'll go through different stages, 3 to be exact. The first stage, be sure to use and so you can jump over him and pound away at his back. Keep doing this and stay away from his front and his yellow breath. In between each stage the lights will turn off and there will be spotlights going around. Make sure you stay in the shadows and press to perform a takedown when you can. The second stage, he'll start going for these wooden things sticking out of the ground to use them as bats. They're easy to avoid, so just do that with and and pound away at his back when the bat gets stuck in the ground. Once he gets low enough, the lights will turn off and you should proceed with what you did before. The third stage, he'll have a bunch of minions. Don't worry though, they're pretty much harmless if you stay focused on Goblin. He'll go for the bats again, so keep doing what you've been doing and you should beat him with no problem. If you die however, you'll go right back to the beginning of the fight.

Lay down your arms
Defeat Doc Ock on any difficulty level

This will be in the 2099 dimension. You only fight her once. However, you do fight her mechanical arms twice. To do this, just make it so the mechanical arms hit the purple circles on the floor and then run up and press to hurt her for half the health. Repeat this a second time. When you finally fight her, you must dodge her laser beams and then pull out the cores. You must pull out three cores in total. Time the lasers correctly so you have enough time to pull them out. When you've pulled out all 3 cores, web strike her with to hit her out of her machine. Once out, she'll start making the ground heat up, so keep away from her until she stops and her shield goes away. When her shield goes away, she'll produce a shock wave which you must jump over. Proceed to beat her and then hit when prompted. When you move to the next stage with lasers and enemies, make the lasers hit the enemies and then grab the balls that they drop and throw them at Doc Ock. Continue to do this until she is dead.

Minimized Carnage
Defeat Carnage on any difficulty level

This will be in the Ultimate dimension. The first fight is pretty simple. He'll attack, so just hold and then dodge with once he attacks. Be sure to attack while he has his back turned. Over time he'll start to make the ground go all gooey so what you need to do is look at where he's going (using Spider-Sense helps) and then web sling to where he's perched on the helicarrier reactor. After that, it's more of the same but he'll attack more. The only other thing you have to look out for is his "charged" ability, as you won't be able to get close, so just let him do it. Other than that it's just rinse and repeat. The second fight is more of the same. The only difference here is that he goes into an egg and then you need the Slayers to burn his egg so you must protect them. Once the egg breaks use Rage and attack as much as possible. Then when he's actually fighting you, you do need to dodge and attack more. When he pauses for a little more than a second, he's ready to suck your health from you. Dodge this, as it really hurts and takes time to get off. His charged attack also is quicker so watch out for that too.

End of Act 3
Complete Act 3 on any difficulty level

Just beat Juggernaut (Amazing), Goblin (Noir), Doc Ock (2099) and Carnage (Ultimate).


Final curtain call
Defeat Mysterio on any difficulty level

This is done in all dimensions. First you'll start off in Noir. You need to stay in the shadows and get to him. He'll shoot big destructive balls randomly. If you get spotted he'll shoot those same balls at you. Stay away from them and stay in the shadows. Sometimes you have to go into the light, but be quick about it. Once you get to him, you'll be prompted by a so hit that and continue mashing until you break his glass face. The second time you'll be in the Ultimate dimension. Here you'll be attacked by a bunch of illusions. You can't start hurting Mysterio until he starts sending orbs out with lightning spewing from them. Once the light in the orbs' lights falter, you can attack them. My suggestion would be to hit and to continually mash it until all of the orbs are gone. He'll start breaking apart land to lead you elsewhere. Just follow him and continue doing what you've been doing. When he has a little bit of health left, follow the prompt, mash it until you break his glass face a second time. Next will be the 2099 dimension. Here you'll be in freefall the entire time. Be sure to avoid the rocky purple stuff and go trough the circles. When you go through the white circles, however, they'll start to become full. Do not hit the white stuff in the circles. This will slow you down and hurt you. Be sure to use Accelerated Vision and speed up to get to him. When you catch up to him, all you have to do is press to grab him and the a few times to punch him. Do this 3 times in total. And finally, you'll be in the Amazing dimension. Be careful of the purple rocks because they do hurt a lot. First you'll have to defeat a BUNCH of enemies. My suggestion would to be constantly using + because it is a huge area of effect. Once you've killed enough and dodged the purple rocks consistently flying at you, you'll be able to shoot some big trash at him to take a 1/4 of his health down. You must do this 2 more times on 2 different pieces of land (which you must web swing to). Once he only has 1/4 left, he'll put his hands on some pieces of wood. Web sing over to him and and mash it.

You'll get this just by playing the game and trying to platinum it. All the enemies you fight and kill will all save. No need to keep trying to kill them, it will come naturally.


Manifest Destiny
Complete the Web of Destiny

Essentially the Web of Destiny is all of the challenges that you get in every level. An easier description of this trophy would be "Complete all 180 challenges." The challenges are pretty straight forward and will save if you finally get them.

You can view these by pressing either or and going to the Web of Destiny. Each level has 15 challenges, about a third being story-related. If you don't know what thing it wants you to do, remember the name and go the combo list and look at what move the challenge referred to.

If anyone needs more help in this, I'll gladly add it to the guide. But to me, currently, they're all very simple to understand.

Simply go to the Carnage level and right at the beginning you'll have a bunch of zombies in a room (which you could bypass entirely) and wake them all up. Once they're all woken up, they'll clump together and then you can press and then hold to do the stomping move which will get you multiple hits. Continue to do this until you have a x200 combo.

Defeat a boss on any difficulty level without taking damage

Fight any boss and don't take any damage. Might want to try it on easy if hard is too hard for you.

Also, a good spot for this is as Noir Spider-Man during the Mysterio battle.

Close call!
Recover 10 times from a Critical Fall

Just fall off a ledge that you know you'll die from and you'll be prompted with a , press it and you'll be swung to safety.

A good place to do this would be Sandman's level since you can fall off a lot of places and save yourself. Hell, you'll probably do that anyways the first time you play the level.

This is one of the hardest trophies. You'll need to get a platinum (and no less) in each of the 3 categories. The categories are:

Combo Rating: Which can be achieved by just doing the combo (thanks to DISCOKING for informing me). The amount of hits does not matter.

Spider emblems: Which if it's close to the max number, you'll get it (usually 1 or 2 off 0 in the Scorpion level I got 15 less and still got it... so it varies). You can find out the max by going to the pause menu and looking at the number on the left.

Quickest Time: Which can be achieved by doing the level as fast as possible. Some levels are harder to do this than others. You'll need to be comfortable with the level before you even try it.

Each of those categories can be satisfied on their own runs. Meaning 1 run for combat, 1 run for emblems, and 1 run for time. Then in the Level Select screen, you'll notice that each of them save and will add to your overall rank.

For those who don't like to read: You need THREE PLATINUMS to get the PLATINUM OVERALL RANK. Gold is not the highest rank, platinum is. Remember, this must also be done on Hard, not Easy or Normal. Platinum is the whitest medal, not to be confused with silver which is more grey.

Here are the potential scores you need for platinums:

Combo Rating - I would suggest 19,000 or more (some can have as little as 18,000). That is what I got whenever I received a platinum.

Spider Emblems - Depends on the level, try to get as many as you can. The Scorpion level, I got 15 less than the max (which can be viewed in the pause menu) and still got the platinum. Just try to get as many as possible. Use Spider-Sense all the time to make sure you can get as many as possible.

Quickest Time - Again, depends on the level. Usually aim between 20-25 minutes (remember, those are the maxes - if you can get lower than that number, always try to do it).

These trophies may seem very difficult, but they're one of the easiest. You can recapture all of the spider emblems that you've gotten before if you replay the level. I was on the Sandman level by the time I got this trophy.

So it's really easy, just replay levels. The Spider Emblems are not hidden, they're right in the open.


The Spider's Shadow
Complete a Noir level without triggering an alarm

Pretty simple, but can be hard. Just try and not attack everyone you see. By passing as many people you can without triggering an alarm, you'll get this.

You also cannot restart the level. If you get spotted, you must back out to the Level Select screen and then play the level from the beginning.

The best level to do this is in Hammerhead's level (the first Noir level). The other 2 are more difficult, so I suggest doing Hammerhead's. This can also be done on Mysterio's level.

Also, apparently a workaround for this is if you do get spotted, just quit the game and go back to the main menu and hit "Continue" and the game will act as if you never got spotted.


The Spider's bite
Keep Rage Mode active for one minute

You'll most likely get this in the Electro level, because you can keep it on and keep attacking people as long as they keep coming. One of the challenges in this level wants you to kill 25 things while in rage-mode. So you'll most likely get it there. Just press to get it to work.


The Spider's grace
Complete a 2099 freefall section without taking damage

You'll get this in the Hobgoblin level just by trying to get the platinum medals. Just be sure to not always speed up. Take your time and watch out for anything that's coming your way.

The easiest place for this, however, is in Scorpion's level at the end. It doesn't last very long and there's only about 2 things you need to dodge.

Defeat 50 enemies using the Amazing Charge Attack

This has to be done in the Amazing dimension (since the other 3 dimensions have their own specific trophy). To defeat enemies with the Amazing Charge Attack, just hold and once it's charged, let go and it should take care of the enemies. You may need to soften them up before you use it. Not hard at all.


No harm done
Complete any level without dying (except the Tutorial)

Very simple, once you've played a level a few times trying to get the platinum, I'm sure you'll get this. Just don't die.


Does whatever a spider can!
Unlock all 42 trophies to earn this.

This is the trophy you want. Just get all the rest and you'll finally have this baby.

This is one of the hardest trophies. You'll need to get a platinum (no less) in each of the 3 categories. The categories are combo rating, which can be achieved by mixing your combos and getting high combo numbers; spider emblems, which if it's close to the max number you'll get it (usually 1 or 2 off), you can find out the max by going to the pause menu and looking at the number on the left; and quickest time, which can be achieved by doing the level as fast as possible. Some levels are harder to do this than others. You'll need to be comfortable with the level before you even try it.

Regarding this, do you have to satisfy all 3 categories in one run, or can you do it one at a time and it'll save?

As in can I do a Spider Emblem run, get the highest rank, do a Combo Rating run, get the highest rank, and then do a Quickest Time run, and at the end of my Quickest Time run, I would've satisfied the conditions of all 3 for that particular level?

There was a topic elsewhere on the board that confirmed you could do this.

You can do all of them on their own separate runs.

Might be worth mentioning that the easiest place to "beat a boss without taking damage" is as Noir SM during the Mysterio battle. If you get to him without being seen the trophy will unlock as this counts as a boss battle.
