Why is this under "PSN Classics" instead of Shooter?

This isn't the classic game at all. They don't even give you the option of playing the classic beyond about five seconds before it shifts gears and never looks back. It's pretty blatantly a Bullet Hell game even if it is on the mild side of that particular genre.

I believe it's under classics cause this game is based on the older space invaders, but this is a remake of it. There's plenty of space invaders remakes for psp for example, but those games are based on the original space invaders as well. Thus, this game is under classics. Hope this helps.

This game blatantly isn't a remake of the original though. Aside from sprites and namesake they have literally nothing to do with one another. That would be like putting the Bomberman PSN games under Classics because they're based on the older versions of the same game.

Hmm...interesting theory I figured it was based on the classic My, bad. It's probably based on the remake of the remake of space invaders, trying to remake it using the classic as the base of operations? Maybe.

I have to agree that this shouldn't be classified as a "classic" considering this is a brand new game, not the original game or a remake. This also applies to Frogger Returns.

I find it strange that Thexder Neo isn't considered a classic since it's the 1985 version with updated graphic's. Also Digger HD which is a remake of the classic.
