The lates psp versions support PSN

but do u need a whole new account

or can u use same acc as ur ps3, coz i know that each ps3 system user allowed for one main but does the PSP??

You can use the same as on your PS3. You can even download psp games on the PS3 and then transfer them to the PSP if you wish. Or just buy straight from the PSP.
