I havent really been into the PSP scene in a loong time, so I started up again. And from what I know, many people who had the original PSP 1000 either traded theirs in for the newer version or kept it for homebrew.
I just took my 1000 out tonight and started to play around with it, since I want to get the new rock band game for it. Then that got me thinking. Who else still has the original PSP 1000? and if they do, do newer games play smooth on it or does it take ages for it to load and have a bad framerate (since the hardware in the 1000 should be slower if the 2000-3000 have improved specs) |

The major specs of the PSP have not changed with the exception of a firmware update. Currently all models from the 1000 to the Go work at 333MHz with 64MB RAM. The only big hardware difference is that the 1000 does not have audio in for supporting Skype. If you have a cell phone, keep your 1000.
