Plugged in my PS2

I plugged in and hooked up my ps2, and i'm playing the simpsons road rage, have any of you hooked up your old ps2s just to play the old games ?

I will be reconnecting my PS2 at the new apartment. There are some games you just can't play on the PS3 (without the emulator and/or a PS2-USB adapter). Guitar Freaks/Drummania, the best DDR mixes and FF X to FF XII come to mind.

Plus I have a Korean Barbeque game I still haven't tried out yet.

Yeah, a few times. I've had it since 2006 and the only problem I've had with it is that the San Andreas disc doesn't work but other then that, it's fine.

Plugged it in last year to play some hitman. But for some reason it refused to load disks

Its been under my bed since.

I've not got a backwards compatible PS3 so the PS2 has never been unplugged.

I used to love The Simpsons Road Rage! But I gave my PS2 Slim away to my cousin a while back. My cousin is a total arsehole and I wish I didn't give it to him to be honest.

Thinking about soft-modding my PS2 so I can play all the games I missed out on back in the day.

Or you can get some of the HD Collections available for PS3 or pick-up the games you want for PS2 as I'd imagine they will be really cheap now.
