ff7 is one of the few jrpgs that is any good (Suikoden springs to mind as well)

I wouldnt mind a remake to ff7 but to be honest its fine as it is.

Square Enix took over from Square (or Squaresoft) in 2003, so if it's a rerelease of somesort from after April 2003, it'll say square Enix, not Squaresoft.

EDIT: This listing on Amazon says 'Final Fantasy VIII by Square Enix' but in the picture it says Squaresoft...

They teased it by making a 'Technical Demo' (also known as 'Rumor Fodder') for the PS3.
Surely they would've known that that demo would've caused such an uproar.

Random, the Greatest Hits on the link I posted was a Squaresoft one.
But yea, it'd be because that greatest hits version was made after April 2003 even though Square Enix (technically) didn't have a part in making it. Final Fantasy X was the last Squaresoft Final Fantasy.

They shouldn't remake it. It's like they said, go back and play it now. You wouldn't appreciate it nearly as much as you did back then.
I've gone back and played old games I used to love, I get bored of them before I make it halfway through nowadays.

Chrono Trigger, Legend of Mana, Megaman Legends... the works.

And anyway, do you FF7 fanboys REALLY want Square ENIX to make a FF7 remake?! O.o
Do you not fear how they would completely DESTROY your most beloved FF game? This is not the same Square it was back then people. You do not want a remake. Believe it.

If you want to see Tifa's tits in HD, you'll just have to watch Advent Children on Bluray. Hah, i'm messin with ya.
