Hmm, when it was still "NGP", I remember reading that Sony had abandoned the trophy system for the new handheld...but looking into it now, I can only find reports that the "Vita" as it is now known will in fact have trophy support.

Good news! ... Still not getting into any lines to buy it tho, I'll stick with my PSP for now, and wait for the "Vita 4001 XLR 2.0 Turbo", or whatever they'll name it, to come out :P

The NGP was announced with trophy support right from the get-go. Yes, it does support HD-like graphics like on the PS3. PSP games are also compatible, your downloaded ones that is!

You can stick with the PSP, I've had mine for way too long. Time for an upgrade and more trophies to pop!

YES it is just another "PSP".... It is a waste of money. I have had all diffrent types of PSP's & I never used any of them longer than a week! Too busy with trophies & life to let a PSP to distract me further

I am seriously considering the VITA. I wont be getting it on release date though

I'm going to stick with my PSP-3000 unless there are going to be some Vita exclusives I really want to play.

So far only PSP exclusives I have played (or going to buy & play) are Final Fantasy Dissidia and Dissidia 012.

out of all the Final Fantasy games for the PSP those are the only 2 you play? lol.

This is probably gonna be awesome. The only PSP I have is the Darth Vader exclusive... (Go figure ) Of course, the huge thing is it being used as a Wii U-like controller for the PS3. That and the trophy support. Those will be getting me on board. But I may wait a while till kinks are worked out and price drops :P
